I really liked the movie Taken. So when Taken 2 came out I had to rent it. I did not like it as much as the first one. I think perhaps it was because in the first one I didn't know what was going to happen. Taken 2 I pretty much knew the plot and the ending so to me it wasn't as exciting. Have you seen it and what did you think?

I saw it and liked the first one more, cant's say it's much worse than the first one but things like throwing grenades all over the place were a bit unrealistic in my opinion. Hope there won't be another part because it'll probably be even lamer.

yep did watch it...but as i had not seen the first part of the movie i really enjoyed it.I did watch the first part after this and it is true that the second part is almost the same as the plot and story of the first part.Regardless of all this Liam neeson has done a great job in the movie alongwith all the other actors. All in all for me it is definitely a movie worth watching.

I saw it and felt the same way as you did. We were really taken aback with Taken 1. We didn't expect it and somebody just lent us the DVD and we just watched it without knowing what would happen - we didn't even hear about it nor watched the trailer, so every experience was new. Like you, we were also excited with the second one (Taken 2) but it didn't give much impact as the first one because yeah, we already knew that he was going to do something great hehe.. Have a great mylot experience ahead!

I dont know anything about this movie but based from the reviews and responses I think this movie is just ok...maybe I should start with the part 1 to fully understand the story.

I liked the first part. The second one not so much. It wasn't as realistic as the first part.

The only fragment in Taken 2 I like is when the father teaches his daughter how to find him on that map.

I agree I watched both movies and the first one Taken had me on the edge of my seat. I love it. So of course I was looking forward to Taken 2. It was good but like you said after seeing the first you know whats going to happen and that everyone will be ok at the end. It was still a good movie but the first was alot more exciting.

Yes, i have. I loved it too Although there was less action ,it was still exiting to watch. Especially the part where he instructed her daughter on how to save him.. that was fun and interesting to watch indeed. We learn new and useful stuff in the movie too.

I still loved Taken 2.. it was a bit shorter and easier than the first kidnapping, but it was still full of action and you won't be disappointed. I loved th ending too. We get to see more scenes from the other actors and even his CIA friends.

I have seen it at the cinemas, yeah most people think that the first one was better. Anyway, that must be somehow true but I cannot deny the fact that I still did enjoy Taken 2. By the way, the last time I heard, there will be a Taken 3 due to the amazing box office success.

I saw Taken 2 and was a little disappointed. Taken was such a great movie. Sometimes when a movie is so good it's hard to have a follow-up. I actually found Taken 2 to be a bit boring. It had a few good parts but all in all it really fell short for me.

I love Liam Neeson in action movies. You can really believe he can beat any and all of the bad guys. He is Aslan and Zeus and Jean Valjean and trained both Obi Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker and Batman. I love Taken so much that I was already expecting Taken 2 to be comparably less great. But I still think it's worth watching. And there will probably a 3rd part, and I will be definitely watching that one too. I also like his film Unknown. It has a Taken feel to it.
