Do you love yourself?

So many of us at times really do have to make a conscientious effort to love ourselves. We are all so busy with the responsibilities of our personal lives that we forget to make time for ourselves. It's important that we love ourselves as individuals and look for areas where we can do the things we enjoy.

Hi, you are right. You should love yourselves. You should have trust on yourselves. If we can't trust or love ourselves then how can other trust you? We should have confidence while doing any work. We should try to enjoy every moment of life with whatever we have.

That is interesting you choose trust and it is very true. Loving to me means trust and yet this is something that is often over looked. I think the greatest thing you can do for yourself to have trust is to be honest. It is like making a deal with yourself but then following through with it. We might think we are now a lier when in fact what we are doing is failing to forgive ourself because we were too weak to follow through.

I love myself sometimes but not all the time because there are still a few things I have yet to change that will help me and my family. However, I know that having a loving family also boosts this love I have for myself. It does help a lot.

Hello! Yes you are right sometimes we can forget that we have our body and soul to our self that needs attention and happiness. Yes I really love myself, i enjoy my life as individual to do things that is good and do socializing to others. I think in-spite of a busy schedule to our family, to our work we should find ways to enjoy our self and have time to laugh and do good things to other. I thinks doing good to other is one way of making yourself happy.

I love myself and you're wright one should love himself and also do things to be happy. If you for example get a job and sit all day and do nothing for your health you'll gradually become unhappy and fat and people will not be attracted to you which will make you even more unhappy. I'm sorry there are medical conditions in some cases but if you let yourself go and become fat and miserable and whine all the time but do nothing to change it you stopped loving yourself.

Well said and very true, jricky1. No one knows you better than you. It is true too that you are the one that knows what you want and have to make your future.

I think it is very important to love ourselves. We need to love ourselves so that we can also love someone else. Some people might call us selfish if they see us happy with ourselves and call us selfish. That is not always the case for sometimes we have to look after ourself just as we would take time out to help someone else in need.

I didn't learn this till I was in my forty's. I would continue to do for others forgetting about taking care of myself both mentally and physically. When I turned 40 I started to take an hour to myself for a manicure or pedicure. Just an hour of reading or exercising. Other times of just writing poetry or treating myself to a day of watching lifetime movies on a rainy day. Munching out on my favorite foods such as popcorn or tortilla and salsa. If you don't take care or love yourself no one else will.

I like to think that I do love myself. Although I am married now and have to put also my husband's needs and our future, I make it a point to pamper myself once in a while especially after a long and hard work. It is not easy because I admit I am also a bit of a cheapskate. But what the heck, I work hard so I also deserve some treats once in a while.
