Have anyone ever thought about going to bible college? I have really thought about it and I am still thinking about it. Although this has nothing to do with the bible, I believe it does. So that you can analyze the bible more efficiently. But as it is said in the bible Knowledge is efficient but not sufficient. But all in all, have anyone ever thought about going to a bible college? And if you did already, Great! tell me about it.

I have not and didn't even know something like that existed until recently I thought pastors taught others how to preach and that is how it was learned.

By all means, and I am sure you are, pray about it, being directed by God's Spirit as to which one to go too. I attended Northeast Bible Institute, Green Lane, PA, which eventually became Northeast Bible College. I sort of miss those days of intense study and preparation and discipline. Our rooms were checked at least once a week while we were in chapel. Seek out a college that is more loyal to God than to the human government, and one that really feels the Holy Bible is THE Word of God.

I have not done it, but have thought about it. If you want to do it, then do it. I'm sure you'll gain a lot of knowledge and that's important. I don't know what denomination you are, but whatever Bible college you choose, be careful of man's doctrine being taught as Bible doctrine. It happens and one has to be alert to it.

Information surrounding the bible can not hurt to know. All the interesting things that can be discussed and questioned are unlimited. I agree though all of it is worth a great deal more if you have you whole heart and mind to God. Praying is the best ingredient in the meal.

All of my school years were spent in a school where Bible was taught except for two years in grade school. I learned a lot that I would not have learn just by going to church.

I went to bible school and took courses for a one year Diploma in Biblical Studies. I was working then, at the same time, and was having my ministry as well as a cell leader and choir member. Just like you, I just wanted to supplement my bible knowledge, besides, our church offered courses for free, but with condition: you remain a scholar with free tuition privileges if you maintain a certain grade. If for one subject you got a mediocre grade or you're just passing, then, you pay for that subject. That was a good motivation to enroll. I enjoyed being in a bible college. There are many online bible colleges also these days that offer diploma or certificates, either free or not. I guess that those who decide to study in a bible college will always be proud in the end that they did so, regardless of whether they have a fulltime calling as a minister or just to learn more about God and His truth.
