options after death......

My uncle passed away early this morning. He had chosen to donate his body to science. So, there won't be any funeral to attend to. We'll have a memorial service when the weather warms up a bit. This is something new to me. He's just not a donor of body parts, but donating his whole body to science vs being put in a box or being cremated. Leave it to my uncle to think outside the box! Would you do this? Or would you rather have the box?

my body parts came with me and they are leaving with me. i wouldn't donate any part of my body. from ashes to ashes, dust to dust. i would rather have the box.

Wow! I was also thinking of donating my organs when I am about to die because we always see people in the news needing some blood organs in order to survive. I think I'll really do that.
