Im started my plants indoors this year. I already started them since I can plant in my zone at the end of march early April. My strawberry plants have just started coming up. It's so exciting. My cucumber and tomatoe plants are really big. I'm worried I should of waited a little longer to start those ones. Those two gre way too fast and will need a pot indoors before I can transfer them outside. Oh well will have veggies really early this year.

Its really an exciting thing to have plants growing within the vicinity of our backyard or near our house considering that you will have something to consume and take care of. The sad part would be that many people regard planting as an activity for poor people and is somewhat useless because all of such can readily be bought in shops and stores

Nothing beats organically grown produce though, which are very expensive in the market. It's sad that people consider growing your own food is a poor man's job. They could really save up and use the money on luxuries instead of on food that they can easily grow.

Great, you have a green hand. I want to plant also but they don't grow :( They die after a few days :(

It really does seem to be something that is very hit and miss when we are planting inside to get our plants started. However, I definitely have to say that I would be happy that my tomatoes were already starting to get big because I love nothing more than fresh tomatoes and I would be so excited at the prospect of getting to enjoy my own homegrown tomatoes just a little bit earlier in the year. You've inspired me to think about getting my own tomatoes and giving them another try this year.

I don't know how to garden but this is pretty cool. Strawberries are pretty rare here so I would love to have hundreds of them in my yard. The most I've eaten strawberry was on a cake, and they were grilled to bits abd pieces.

Wow! I want to plant some veggies too. It's okay if you have tomatoes and cucumbers early. You can cook them easily. I make bentos for lunch and tomatoes and cucumbers are very easy to incorporate in dishes. Not to mention they make great salads! You can also try making pasta sauce from scratch if you have a lot of tomatoes and then just stock them in the fridge for later use
