Since it was our boss' 69th birthday yesterday, we do have free lunch and even free snack courtesy by her. She keep on telling about that few weeks ago so we were quite expecting that already.
We really have a great lunch yesterday. She brought homemade foods like buttered shrimp which i really like but quite had a hard time taking off the scale, fried chicken that are really crunchy and veggies to balance the food. We also have lychee almond jelly and cake for dessert. We also have another cake during snack given by supplier, ice cream and pansit malabon.
We really had a great birthday treat fro our boss yesterday. I was really full till night and cant even eat dinner at home.

it is really nice of your boss to treat you guys in the office.
i'm sure it is also her way of showing her appreciation for everyone in the office, for all the hard work and dedication you guys have shown to her. that was quite the feast that she prepared for you. she didn't only brought lunch, she also got snacks for everyone! really impressive!!!
perhaps, you and your office mates should get a nice gift for her? or did you get her a present already?

We really appreciated her treat for us yesterday.We really enjoyed all the foods that were really tasty and so delicious.I was really full till snack yesterday.We planned to give her present but she insist to don't have one and said that she will be mad if we give her gifts.She just say that happiness is more important than material things,

well, it was a nice gesture on your boss' part to bring food for you guys. she insisting not to receive a gift is also a nice gesture. perhaps, one of these days, you can just give her a small token of your appreciation.

Indeed it was a great and delicious lunch treat for us yesterday.
Sounds weird that no birthday celebrations there even kids who always wanted birthday celebrations.

Well i think it is always nice to have generous boss that would treat the staff and his underlings well . So do treasure the time that you are working in the company with him as the boss yea.

She is really generous in terms of food, she always shared what she have at work that make her really nice.I even called her granny jokingly sometimes lol.We really enjoyed our free foods tomorrow, even some of our suppliers gave some foods as well such as ice cream and cakes that we ate during snack.

Hi there Ardoy! yummy treats you got there with your boss' birthday.
Usually here in our company, not only the bosses treats us for a celebration but some of the staff too treats everyone or their close friends for a pizza when it was their birthday. =)

Yes it was a super yummy and delightful treat to all of us.We really enjoyed it a lot the fact that we do eat all together without any inhibitions and just enjoy that time.Leave our stressful work even for an hour and just enjoy the birthday treat of our nice boss.

That was so very kind of your boss to treat all of the employees to a lunch in celebration of her birthday. This is quite different from what we would do here. If it was a supervisor's birthday where I used to work, instead of allowing the supervisor to treat us, we would treat the supervisor by arranging a pot luck lunch where each of the employees would make something at home that we could share with the person of honor and all of the other people that we worked with.

Oh yes she is very kind and generous.She even used to do it during her birthday here in the office.This was a great office celebration for her birthday since there were some suppliers as well that gave some foods like cakes , ice cream, fruits and even flowers as well.
