I've been cooking most everything in the microwave since they became popular...one of my favorite microwave meals is chicken and rice...well I love chicken period lol...chicken and rice is so easy to make..whether you use instant rice or regular...canned,packaged or rotisserie..chicken broth or dry...you can't go wrong with some easy fix,microwave chicken and rice...do you have a favorite microwave dish?

. I also used it for steamed vegetables, but I have never tried it for meat -- expect to warm a ready-to-microwave dish --.

I've never thought about a favorite dish in the microwave, but it is nice to have them.around. Many times, I think that these are awesome forreheating leftovers and cooking things that are quick when time is limited. Overall, I cannot imagine being without one around.

Usually I just use the microwave oven to heat the food. Or I will take advantage of it to cook faster. For example, I like to cook the potato with microwave oven because they can be done in sevearl minutes. It is very convenient. However, I haven't tried to use the microwave oven to make professional dish yet.

so far, i use microwave only to heat up cold food like defrost chicken, heat up cold dish . Though there are functions to microwave some dish, I don't dare to use any of them because the time to cook is more than 90 minutes ! errr... am I seeing the wrong one ?
