Cutie Oranges

United States
March 8, 2013 7:24pm CST
When I was younger I was really picky about oranges. I didn't like the white stuff on the orange that wouldn't so easily come off. So usually I wouldn't eat very many oranges. I loved tangerines the most because they were small, seedless and wouldn't have pulp! Now there's a brand in the US called cutie oranges which are miniature seedless oranges with no pulp and no seeds. I love these things, so do my nieces. I wonder how they make the oranges small though....

Im the same way here, I just bought a big bag of oranges here. Like 40 of them for just 2.50, I was so happy. Now.. my son has already eaten 10 of them. I need to hide the rest for orange juice. How are you dear?

How are things there? What's new in your earning world? Well bubblews paid me again today. Only $23 for some reason but whatever I will take it! Oh! I have a nice one for you if you're interested.

I don't knwo why you can't, that is such a bummer. They should give you a real legit reason if they don't pay you. Though they haven't.

I love oranges, even i am eating one right now :) i dont have any problem with its seeds or white fibers on it but my hubby is like you in this regard, he will eat oranges if i give it to him after peeling and removal of white fibers, he avoid to eat many fruits because he have to peel it :/ I can understand 'seedless oranges' but not "pulpless', how would be a pulpless orange like :?

Pulp is the white stuff basically. Wow your husband must not like to peel fruits... I don't mind if it isn't difficult to peel them. If I get juice on me then it starts to bother me

kiat kiat (small oranges) - these are the kiat kiat or small oranges if these are the oranges you meant.
i do not like eating oranges too much, not because these are expensive to buy in our country but i hate peeling it and this peels are not easy to remove and have a bitter taste. well, all of the citrus have a bitter taste peelings but at least those can be peeled completely and can be divided easily unlike oranges. yeah, i know what you mean, those cutie oranges in the u.s called. i like eating those stuffs. it is sweet and so cute. here in the philippines, it is called kiat-kiat

Some oranges the peel won't come off so it affects the taste of the orange even if it is juicy.

Unatural oranges... well science makes some good oranges then. Science should mess with pizza and make it better too! Don't you think?

I've seen them and now might try them. I was wondering if they were sweet or seedy...never saw any info on them. But I always wonder...if they are seedless..where do the growers get more seed to plant more for next years crop!?!?!?

They're seedless and usually very sweet. I've only had a couple that were sour. You should try them yourself sometime.

i do love me some oranges to. but am often afraid to buy them as ive bought ones that turned out sour and that i dont like i loved back when i worked out in sun city for the elderly people. they all grew wonderful oranges and tangerines and grapefruits of which they gave me all i could eat and give away one client had what was called tangillos and they were just like what you are talking about here. im wondering if they are the same. those were wonderful. sweet and tiny and easy to peel. i will check into the cuties. i just hope not to get a bad batch

I haven't had a bad batch yet and we buy they pretty often here. They are easy to peel even the girls can do that without making a mess of them, makes them feel good to do that themselves.

I really like them too! They are so juicy and you don't have to bother with seeds or a lot of pulp. I heard they are a hybrid plant. Orange and a chinese mandarin.

Okay that would make sense that they are a hybrid plant.

There are different varieties of oranges. That is why some have those pulp and seeds more prominent than the other. I am not so much of a fan of oranges. I am just too lazy to peel them off! Check this link for the varieties: http://www.floridajuice.com/varieties

Oh neat, I didn't realize the large varieties available. I am definetely a non-pulp juice fan. Its smooth and not chunky.

Cuties my family loves them. We would get them when I was little and now I buy them for my daughter as well. They are manderines which is a time of orange or clementines which are sweet and not like an orange where it's so cite uses but they are called cuties which isn't the company not the orange themselves.

They are nice. I have to be careful or my daughter will just peel the, and not eat them at all at times. She learned how to peel the, herself so its a game to a 2 year old.

Thanks for the info I didn't realize they were mandarins. I love them though and I eat a lot of them, so do my nieces and the two boys who visit. They're handy for them in winter months when fruits are more scarce. I'm glad they have them so readily available.

I have a 4 year niece old who likes them so much even if she peels them she will eat. it. I don't know about the 2 year old if she knows how to peel them yet so so far I don't have that problem.

Hi, I like oranges. But if they are sour I don't like to eat. I haven't eaten seedless oranges. I have eaten only seedless grapes but not oranges. I would like to eat them.

Grapes with seeds really bother me so I don't get those if I can help it. You should have a look for tangerines or seedless oranges because they're so much more enjoyable to eat.
