During the death of a very humble but sincere (in my eyes and majority of the people) public servant in my country, I heard this phrase more than I count. Nearing the election time, I am quietly reflecting on the people who should I vote for in this coming election. Mostly are career politicians and I could barely make a list of 12 senators much lest the local officials in the place where I am registered to vote. In my country, The person mentioned above and another historic person was quoted as the best that we never had because they died too early – one by an assassination that was never solved and another by a tragic accident. In today’s world, it’s so hard to pick a good candidate, much less a president or other head of a society. In a sense, history was kind to them because their lives were cut too short and things might have been better. For you, who’s the best president or leader that your country could ever have?

That's a loaded question because here it depends upon how well the work with Congress. Also some people can seem like they are destined to be great until they are up against a situation they can't handle.
