Which Movie Do You Think Is "Based On True Events"?

I notice that currently more movies have the subjects of "Bases on a True Events". Honestly, I love watching movies that are based on a true story. It gives me an idea that certain events really happened in real life.
There are also some that are taken on actual footage like the Paranormal Activity movies. But unfortunately, I seldom or never believe in that kind of movie.
So, which do you think is the best movie that really and truly happens based on true events or based on true story, either by re-enactment or actual footage.

Hello borgieboy! Well, i thought there were a lot of movies that base on true story like the tin red line that told about alied force against japanase army in new guinea, ban of brothers that told about american troops against german, or black hawk down that told about an american army's helicopter that shooted down by Farah Aidid in Africa. Don't forget with ben afleck movie's, Argo that told about several Iran people who took over american embacy

Thanks for the response. I watched the trailer of the movie Argo but actually wasn't able to watch the movie itself. It's more interesting to watch movies that are based on true events but got confuse as you watch the whole film itself.

I do like movies about history. They often inspire me. Ghosts of Mississippi is about the prosecution of Medgar Evers' assassin, Nuremberg Trials about the prosecution of WWII leaders (only the losing side), The Motorcycle Diaries about the political awakening of Che Guevara, In the Time of the Butterflies about the Mirabal sisters during Trujillo dictatorship in the Dominican Republic, The Burning Season about Chico Mendes fight for the Amazon rainforest, Korkoro about the survivor of the Porajmos, so many. It is all fascinating.

Well I too love "based on True Events" type movies. Argo with Ben Affleck and Zero Down Thirty" were based on true stories and they were both good movies. Another good movie "Tears of the Sun" with Bruce Willis is also based on a true story. When it comes to the Paranormal Activity movies I don't tend to believe them so that is why I don't watch them. I do believe in spirits but these types of movies to me are usually made up.

I think the Zodiac is quite accurate.It's a story about a serial killer who has never been caught.I compared the story of the movie with the real story and I must say that they made it in a realistic way.This is one of my favorites from "based on true events" category.

Mostly i like to watch love movies and action movies.people who were in love often like to watch love movies like me.I give more importance to watch action and science friction movies like trasformer,iron man , batman.

when true to life stories are made into movies expect that there would be more changes for commercial purposes though the film makers capitalize on a "Based on a true story" thing. I have never seen any movie who really talked about real events. There are so many alterations actually. The best thing for us not to be deceived by this tactic is to research deeper just like what I did when I watched that paranormal movie series and the Apollo 18 recently.
