Student house rental rant

When I came back to my rented room after the weekends. I saw the house renovation is getting worst. I remember I made a discussion in MyLot about the front porch extension.
Now it escalate to renovating almost the entire house instead of just the front porch. Now the condition that I'm living in is dirty and dangerous. I mean there's even some sort of half build floor extension right above my head when I'm going up the stairs. It looked like it will collapse anytime on top of me. Also the wiring, even the wiring is tampered with. The wires are all pulled out and you wouldn't dare to touch the switches just to turned on the light or the fan because if you tried you might accidentally touch wires, it will electrocute you.
And finally the floor, so much dust and dirt. Even the front porch of the house has huge cement packets, a small mountain of sand, and a couple of other things is placed there making it inconvenient for me to go out of the house or even enter the house especially when ,my roommate's car is parked there.
That's it, the condition is bad. That I have to spend my time in the library rather than to look forward to come home. I have to endure this until this college semester ends then I'm moving out. I've had it with the landlady and her bright ideas to renovate the house to make more rooms so that she can make more money renting out the rooms.
I'll bet the students won't even want to come here. One of the rooms is enclosed. The window only face the staircase not even outside because there's no opening for the outside.

wow sorry that this has become an issue for you and yes while repairs are always welcome but to tear up a home that you are renting a room to some one is not a good thing unless you have talked to the person how it went from outside to inside over a weekend wow and to make it un safe that is a big no no good luck to you be safe and be well

Yes it only started with a room extension but now it escalate to tearing half of the house down. Really? I'm moving out today with my room mates because they can't stand the situation either.

That is so terrible. Sorry that in the middle of your studies his has to happen. How long do you still have to be in that rental house before you have your break from school? I would suggest you start looking for a new accommodation now since I think the rest of the students there will be thinking of transferring as well.

Apparently, I don't have to endure it anymore because I'm moving out today and it's not even the end of the semester yet. I feel that the longer I live in that house, accidents might happen. The unfinished floor extension might collapse on me one day.

Oh man, this is exactly something i faced during my student life. Guess what i did? I ran the hell out of there. So i suggest you do the same, it is not worth risking your life to save up monies. :]

Yeah, I'm immediately moving out today because that house already became a health and safety hazard. Moving down to a house only a few blocks away. Actually, living in that house is not saving any money because the rental is not cheap. Hopefully the new house rental fee would be cheaper.
