With Tracy just about forcing Spinelli to steal the Relish recipe that Ellie has figured out there is a new source for conflict between them. Of course Ellie shouldn't have been using the hospital lab to work on it anyway and apparently since she continued the next day which was after she started back to work, she was doing while being paid by the hospital. Also, she was letting Starr, a non-hospital employee, use the lab equipment, etc. which could cause all kinds of insurance and legal issues. If found out, Ellie could be fired just when she still needs the benefits to keep recovering from her injuries from the accident. I know it is a soap and the characters who are supposed to be smart do really stupid things all the time. It just irks me sometimes that the writers can't make things interesting without such things.
