Of course I wasn't talking about a man.. so he wasn't worried at all. I fell in love with a coffee drink by a local coffee shop. It is one of their specialty drinks, named after the shop.. Riverbend. This drink is flavored with amaretto and Kahlua (just flavor, not actual alcohol). You can get it iced, frozen, or hot. It's delicious! My second favorite coffee drink is also from the same shop. It's called a trader's delight. It is half coffee, half cocoa and it is so good! I think small local coffee shops have way better coffee than most national chains like Dunkin Donuts or Tim Horton's. I honestly won't even go to Dunkin Donuts anymore because I've had some very bad coffees from them which totally turned me off. Do you have a favorite coffee? Do you prefer small shops to national ones?

So, is there a Tim Horton's in your area?! I think my taste buds have been so accustomed to the taste of big coffee chains. It's either McDonald's or Timmy's. There's a few small shops around here, but unfortunately, they couldn't compete with the price.

Smaller shops. I really don't like the strong coffee they serve like at Starbucks either. It just about makes my heart race out of my chest! I love making coffee at home too and I love my different creamers....right now my favorite is Almond Joy...tastes just like the candy bar!

I like the candy, but I can't imagine it would taste good in coffee. But maybe I'll try it sometime. I tend to mostly stick to my hazelnut creamer.

That sounds amazing! Over here in the uk, at Christmas they started doing an amaretto flavoured coffee and that was delicious but, with Kahlua as well, that sounds even better! I liked too that when you bought one, you got a free amaretto flavoured biscuit as it was nice to dip in! Yummy!

I love coffee - good coffee. I do not like the coffee in fast food places or even Starbucks. I love to perk a good Jamaican coffee in the mornings. It is expensive but I have cut down on consumption andown to two cups a day instead of four. I also like a Spnaish coffee. But nyu are right as the small places serve better coffee than the big stores

I dont drink coffee and I don't like the smell of coffee. I don't know why I don't like it since all of my family member drink coffee and sometimes we processing coffee beans from our private small coffee corps. For me coffee is bitter even though have been mix with sugar or milk, it still taste bitter in my mouth and sometimes left the smell on the breath.

We don't have Tim Horton's around here (Iowa) that I know of. For chains we have Starbucks and Caribou Coffee. And of course McDonald's. I think their coffee drinks are ok but my daughter thinks they taste burnt. There are a lot of local coffee places in town but most of them are too far out of the way. There is a nice little drive through place close to where I live though called Twisted Bean. Which reminds me I haven't been there in awhile. Guess where I'll be going tomorrow?

I don't drink coffee. I do however prefer smaller place is too big corporate owned places usually. Since I don't drink coffee I will tell you about my love. It is a place called Fuzzy's Taco Shop. There is only 1 around here that I know of. My sister and I went there for the first time about a month ago when she was in town. I have loved everything I have gotten there so far. We even more so far as to buy a bottle of their butt burning hot sauce and something called Fuzzy dust the put on just about everything.

I like french vanilla cappicino's from Speedway (gas station). I have one maybe once a year from there. Otherwise the only time I have one is when I'm at the Chinese Buffet as it settles my tummy and part of the cost of the buffet anyway... again out of a machine and not a lil shop.

hi katsmeow I really think its funny in a way that here in Gold crest they do make the best coffee and I have no idea what brand they use either. I say this as rheir food is noi always as good. I did taste one of those Traders delight and it was really lovely and for once it did not shoot my blood sugar up like some specialty coffees do either. I think the little shop was called Coffee and Tea leaves or something like that,. its been awhile so do not remember for sure but it was a small shop and their rea and coffee both were just wonderful..

My husband and I are big time coffee drinkers. Not really into flavored coffee or big retail coffee shops like you mentioned. Where we live there aren't many small coffee shops though so we basically just drink home brewed coffee. We prefer to use a stove top percolator but you have to use more coffee to do it. since coffee has gotten so expensive we don't make it like that very often. Occasionally we make iced coffee's at home for something different and I like to add chocolate to those.

I almost have a favorite coffee in each if the famous coffee shops, but I think my out favorite is the one we brew and make back home on ice. I think it has something to do with the fact that we grind our own coffee beans as we brew them, thereby preserving the natural aroma and taste of the coffee. We also do not put sugar in it, just the favors and creams.
