I wish I were an octopus...

After one stressful event to another, I now wish I had as many arms as the octopus, 4 pairs to be exact, so I can accomplish many things at the same time. One pair would be Mylotting, the other pair would be applying make-up on my face, the other pair would be for eating while I'm doing all these and the last pair would be fixing my hair. Isn't that what we call multi-tasking to the max? No kidding, from the day we moved to another house up to this time, my work isn't done yet. Whew!
Is any of you here having the same wish?1 person likes this

Hahaha...this reminds me of a story that I heard from a young mum.
Her son quite demanding and she answered him. "Mummy is not an octopus,
mummy only got one pair of hands, so you got to be patient". At times
we wished we can do multi tasking as the task we need to do is overwhelming.
Do rest and take care. Certain things are not priority, just need some
time management.
All the best.

But then we will look weird and strange!
Me on the other hand wishes that I can be in two places at one time. This way, I can be there both for my work and my personal life. But alas! There's only one me (thank goodness, the world can't afford two of me running around

Mum tells my dad often that she wished she had another pair of hands, having to run around after him all the time, honestly, she's more like a mother to him than a wife! She will come in with his dinner all prepared and cook and he will hold his coffee mug to her saying I want a tea and she is loaded! As he is so lazy, maybe he should chop his hands off and give them to her! Someone told me once that women are far better at multi-tasking than men, I didn't like to argue ;0)

Please be careful with your multi-tasking. I used to share rides to work with a young lady who usee to apply her make-up while driving on the interstate.

I never thought of being an octopus but i have thought of having more arms or being able to multi task better lol. Sometimes when i had a job i thought i wish i could clean house and get ready for work at the same time. When i have a friend over that wants to go out with me i wish i had more arms to clean house get ready to go and do things with my friend at same time. When i am at work i wish i could everything that needs to be done so i could get the work done faster. So yes i guess i wish i was an octopus and could multi task better that way.

I was doing something for my kids one day and my daughter didn't think I was doing whatever it was fast enough. I said I only have two hands. She said I know, I wish you were an octopus because then you would be able to do things super fast! Lol, when I read the title to this discussion I remembered that right away.

I do not wish to become an octopus. I wish to have an identical twins which is four so that they could help me of what I am doing. He he he
So that, while I am sleeping, my Identical twin will do it for me and after her, she would go to sleep and then, I be the one who do the tasks online.

I find myself wishing that from time to time but then I think I would also look very strange to others so I change my mind. But it would indeed be useful to have so many arms. I would make multitasking, something I'm not very good at, a lot easier and I'd be able to get more things done in the same amount of time.

That would be cool if you were really good at multitasking as well and you are able to think about accomplishing all different things all at once. But its not a bad idea,

No I don't wish I was a octopus, and I had eight arms, I just take my time, doing thing, I know I have a lot of things to do, but I spend my time, doing one thing at at a time, if I need to clean the house, I would spend my time doing that, then if I had to wash clothes, I would spend my time doing that, but when I come here online, I would spend all my time, doing that because being online take up, most of my time.

You could also be a spider and probably spider would be better for it is very hard-working. Well, just kidding
It is not uncommon that we find no enough time to do something we think we need to do everyday. But truth is, time is the most fair lord cuz everyone has the same 24 hours everyday. Before doing something, make a plan and the most important thing is to think what is urgent, what matters the most
