At the weekend she spent eight hours doing energetic dancing at a course. Today at the class she said she could hardly move she was in so much pain and that she wouldn't be able to jump around much at all. I felt so very sorry for her since an hour of the dancing is excellent and highly enjoyable though eight hours of it must have been like a nightmare. I saw her later on and she said she was off for a sports massage.
Have you even worn yourself out and had aching legs or arms?
Do you do any sort of dancing. If so please say about it.
Did you ever have a relaxing massage?

Hi
Yes, I'm a student of Ballroom Dance. I've done both Modern, Latin American & New Vogue dance styles as well. I've passed the National exams here for Bronze level of achievement, which took many years. I've also completed a multitude of tests & graded performances over the years. I used to dance at social events for more than eight hours & felt great afterwards. I've never had a massage in my life. I'm not sure what energetic dancing involves... can you please explain?

Hi Vegan Bliss. I like the sound of your dance training, exam passing and graded performances. It is high energy dancing to music from many different cultures. It is called Zumba and a lot of the ladies wear belly dancing skirts around their other clothes. There is a gentle warm up and a relaxing end to the session. The middle part of the lesson is very much dance movement fast. I hope that I explained enough? Have a lovely day.

I think that the dance tutor can get many sessions in a week with spaces between her. I believe that she did too much jumping about with the dancing at the weekend. I hope that the sports massage has made her feel loads better. It is shame you know this feeling and yes everyone can learn to take it a bit easier.

I have done work where my arms were tired, but not being a dancer, I do not have that problem with my legs. I have had sore feet from wearing the wrong type or size of shoes. I do a little dancing for fun, but not so much I would hurt myself, but I have heard of dancers dancing until their feet are bleeding and wonder how they do it without stopping and screaming.
I did have a relaxing massage. I was tense and my shoulders were hurting.

I can get to aching over just about nothing and I've had some lovely massages... and I believe I've said in the past that I took ball room dancing in middle school, but I really can't remember much about it other than the fact that my parents thought it was important... can't remember most of it.

No I never join any dancing classes. The one I joined was a self defence art. It was like dancing but the movement was more like a fighting style. Have you seen Kung Fu sequence? It's more or less like that.
Relaxing is important to relieve stiffness. I do that once in two months.

I love aromatherapy massageand spa. It was a great relieve.
The refreshing aroma is so relaxing for mind and soul.
During the mega shopping sales, our feet are aching and
when we have the opportunity to sit on the massage chair,
it really makes our muscle relax and we truly feel great.
I have not done any exhausted dancing, I think I will be
too tired and run out of energy even to dance more than an
hour.

When I was in my twenties, I thought nothing of going to the gym 5 times a week, and for long periods too, sometimes for 2 hours, now as I have got older, I can only manage 3 times a week, I remember trying to go four times and I did my left shoulder in really badly, the result was I couldn't use it, which meant I had to avoid using particular machines, it hampered me a great deal, I didn't realize just how I'd damaged it, that was back in October 2012, it's still not 100%. I have also noticed that I cannot stay for 2 hours now, and I have also noticed that I am not putting on the muscle as much as I used to. I really wish I could go 5 times or even 4, but 3 is the max. 8 hours dancing seems rather extreme doesn't it? She must have the stamina.

Hi maximax8, I did have worn out for suffering from aching on my left upper arm. I quit the part time job that needed lots of nonstop typing and writing then. I relaxed myself at home free from the disgusting exhausted work. I had mild massage regularly
One of my friends did invite me many times to join her line dance group. I didn't accept her hospitable invitation for afraid that I couldn't take time off to join them
Have a nice day
