Well I just found out that my ex-father in law passed away. He died yesterday. When I called my son to find out if his dogs needed tending to,that is when he told me that his grandfather has passed.
I talked with him for as long as he wanted to talk about it. I know my son is hurting for he wanted to see him at least one more time before his grandfather passed.
Not only will my son miss him, I will miss him also, for, my ex-father in law and I worked together and got to know each other well during the time that I work for him at the plant nursery.
I am very sad to lose another person in my life. I along with my son will miss him.
Keep my son in your prayers, as he only has one grand parent left and I'm really not sure how he will handle loosing his Gramma W.

My heart goes out to your family and especially your son who has just lost his grandfather. I know that this is not something that will be easy for him to deal with. I also feel for you in that you were close to him since you had worked together.
I know that it isn't going to be easy at all, but if it is possible, dwell on the good times that you all had together as opposed to the fact that he is no longer with you. Grieve for him as you need to but most importantly, celebrate the great life that he had.

I too join you and your family in the prayer for the one who has passed away and also for your son who is left with onlly one grand-parent. It is not so easy to bear the shock of lossing someone whom you loved a lot and also depended a lot on that person.
I pray to Almighty to give your son courage and wisdom to bear the shock and get going with his routine life. I think that you need to tell and explain him that this is the way life goes. Just do not think about the time when he will also be without his grand-mother and look forward to the present and future better things.

I am sorry for the lost, may his soul rest in peace, Amen. When we loose someone who has been part of our life for years will make us unconsciously recalling the times we have spent with them. All we can do is pray for them that already in a peace place now.

Hi ! This is so sad , sorry to know this. Grandparents era the best spoiler of the little kids. They give all that can make kids happy . They have overflowing love to little kids. I can remember how my grandparents loved us so much that anything she does for us. Hope your boy will be cope with this , my prayers for him .

I'm sorry to hear that, your son will be affected, he got attached with his grandfather, it's hard to lose someone in the family, i also lost my grandmother 2 months ago and i'm still affected. I'll pray for you and your son, take care.
