As kids we never touched this fruit. Only the bark of the tree was used. This used to be cooked in water and we were made to drink it whenever we had bile problem. We had this tree in our garden and we were told that the fruits were poison. I now grown wiser and know a lot more about this tree and the fruit. Is has countless health properties. The fruit stinks and yet the cuckoo will eat it all up. Noni is its favourit fruit. The noni fruit has now gone global the link below will you tell about it. http://www.apollononi.com/what-is-noni-fruit-good-for.html There is a huge demand for bottled juice of the Noni Fruit.

One marketing representative came and explained the benefits of ‘Noni’ health drink. I think it is costly (One bottle cost approximately 1000 rupees). One lady told me that she is having this juice but don’t know about the result. Have you tried this juice anytime or you do know any person who got benefited with this?

I have a couple of trees in my garden and they bear fruit. The entire tree is useful they say. But I have not tried it so far. The fruit when it ripens stinks and I don't think anyone can eat it unless it is fermented and the juice is extracted. Someone came the other day and took away the fruits. That person is making the juice and giving it free.

This fruit cannot be eaten as it is, as it stinks very badly. When the fruits drop down in my yard the whole place stinks like a toilet but the birds eat them up. There is a lot of stuff on the Net about this fruit.

That became popular here about 10 years ago. But I have not really tried it. How does it taste?

It is marketed as a juice and eating the fruit is not normally recommended as it stinks and not many would be able to tolerate that bad smell. When the fruits fall down in my yard the whole area smells.

That's what happens to products if they are hyped. If it is done at a slow pace confidence sets in and not when someone is pushing the product. But I think it does have some healing properties.
