I can't believe t hat I overslept last night

My father was working on second shift, so he won't be home making dinner for me, and he probably came home late too. So, the dinner is all on my own. After work, I watch a movie in DVD, and chewing some snacks, I felt a bit tired, so I decided to take a nap, and I probably get up around 8:00 and make myself a simple dinner. When I heard the garage door opened, and it must be my father came home from work, I get up and look at the clock, it was 11:00 already. Oh my God, I was overslept, and I didn't even make myself anything to eat for dinner. Since it was 11:00 P.M. already, I just go to the bathroom, brush the teeth, and wash my face, then I get back to bed again until today morning. If my calculation wasn't wrong, I slept 12 hours approximately. Is that bad?

Well if it doesn't happen frequently to you then it should be ok. I used to sleep 12 hours straight back when I worked the night shift. By the time I go home from work on the early morning of the weekend, I would oversleep and sometimes wake up late at night.

It happenes sometimes, I also had the same experience, as I traveled and I was so tired becuase of not having enough sleep, I am sleeping more than my normal time now.

Oversleeping is what I hate. It seems that I lose a lot of things when I oversleep. Because of this, I always try hard not to sleep even a bit.

No. It is not bad. I think its good that you sleep all the way because it seems that you are very tired, but the only consequence is that you didn't make yourself a dinner. I think you can still eat dinner in the evening after that.

I think it's okay because you needed the rest and sleep. Your body needs all the sleep that it can get to repair your cells and regain your energy. Once you have gained back your energy I don't think you will be able to sleep that much again.

You were really tired, no you didn't fix yourself, nothing to eat because you did over sleep, maybe next time you should, set and alarm clock to wake you up, so you will be awake in time, to fix yourself your dinner.
