SSS philippines what shall I do to change my status?

Is there any filipino who knows about SSS.I can't find answer in sss website about my concern.I was an employee and I wanted to continue my contribution and change it as 'Voluntary member'.My question is do I need to fill up a form for a change of status? or Shall I pay for voluntary member directly.It is too far and to hard If I will inquire in SSS branch here for a one lie will took an hour.so I hope there is someone wo are familiar with this. thanks in advance.
