Hello lotters, that's right! some one from SKy Cable company thought he'd get away with when he attempt to do other service to satisfy (himself) when he's supposed to fix the cable signal. the victim said she couldn't believed it when the man tries not only to get his money but also her body and kill her afterwards. she fought back and pretended to be dead after being stab by scattered glass.. not a referral link. http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/video/metro-manila/03/15/13/woman-nearly-raped-killed-cable-guy that's really scary because these are strangers going into your house.. maybe she should have been consistent in calling the hotline instead.

OMG This is why when I have anyone coming to my house to install or fix somthing I always have another person in the house with me. They usually won't bother you if you have others around you. That is so scary and what a sicko. So did she kill the cable guy or not? I couldn't read the story. If she did he got what he deserved. I just hope she is ok.

Accident may happened anytime and people always pretend to be an employee to take easy access to prospected victims. For readers it is easy to give opinion and suggestions but in reality when you are on it surely it will be another things. Good for she has able to think of camouflage to survive. All of us must be careful in dealing people, even in our homes

That is really surprising that the cable guy has turned criminal. I wonder what prompted him to do this since I guess he has a good job and is earning from this job that is why the victim called her up because she was satisfied with the service he provided. But then, this guy suddenly changed and decided to become bad. Too bad his victim survived and is now talking. He has put the name of a good cable company provider in a bad light as well for doing this.

That news made me a bit paranoid. I'm sure everyone does feel a bit paranoid now because of that. So unexpected for a cable guy to take advantage of a client like that. Crazy.

HI Letran Knight: That's just sick and it reminds us that we have to be careful because you never know who is entering in your house. We have to take some precautions. Sadly there are people like this cable guy rapist waiting for any opportunity. ALVARO

There's no impossible nowadays. People are using their job, position and even power to get something they likes from other. People inside the house should be careful when calling different technicians to fix somethings inside their respective houses

Scary as it is but this is the very reason why companies do not support the hiring of ex-convicts. We would never be able to know if the former inmate has been rehabilitated successfully or not. At the same time, the other side is arguing and fighting for the support of ex-con re-acceptance. Failing this program will just make them fall back to crimes when they cannot find jobs to sustain themselves.

Waaaaaa.. That's a very bad thing to do. Hopefully the girl was able to survive. We should always be careful in letting someone get into our house especially if we don't really know that person. always be careful and keep safe

Oh my, that was scary. Just imagine letting a guy into your house knowing that he was a legitimate employee of the cable company but instead had other motives. What happened to her would be an eye opener to people who wants services to be done in their homes. This kind of people do their thing if they thought the chances are favorable for them, so we must be alert always and thanks to her quick thinking it had save her life. I just hope the guy is caught and put him where he belongs.

Pretty scary really! It is now real hard whom to trust. I am sure she never thought that it could possibly happen especially that the man was connected with the cable company. But apparently, this guy is not directly connected with the company and was just hired by Sky Ca ble from a third party. But regardless of where that guy is connected with, he should have made a better judgement than what he has done. He has a good job and yet he thought of tainting it by doing something as bad as that. I have no remorse to this kind people!

The world is never a safe place to live in. You just don't know when someone with bad intention would perform the attack. Not many would aspect a cable man would actually do other things outside of his job scope and assaulted the woman. Perhaps it is best that people be offered the option to pay online so that they would have reduce risk at facing this kind of criminals. Everybody should exercise extra caution after this.

That guy. is terrible because he is a rapist. I saw a cable guy movie that was starred by Jim Carey. That cable guy sounds crazy. So, we never trust every cable guy or strangers.

I watched an episode about a serial rapist in Criminal Minds and he works as a guy who connects cable and telephone lines. They can easily have accessed to their homes and most of the time, they stalk their victims before actually planning the crime. It is a sad news and I think they should implement a law that will make them afraid of doing these things.

OMG, that is scary. These criminals are really more aggressive nowadays. Seems like they become even more creative to have different MO's each time they want to do away someone. It's a good thing the victim survived.

this just means that we should be careful.. specially when we are alone in our home.. i think if we are in need of these services we should have at least someone or a family with us.. we really cant tell how safe we are these days even we thought we are safe lets think twice specially with people we really don't know..

That's unfortunate. I agree with the point of those who responded that if a stranger is to come to our house to do some fix or maintenance, we should make sure we always have somebody with us.
