On Monday me and my husband took our son JD who is now is 6 months and 2 weeks old. We where surprised how big he is. He is 19lbs flat, and 27 inches long. He is almost as big as his sister because she is at 21 or 22lbs last month at her 2 year check up. They are almost the same height as well. I was worried about his wheezing but his doctor told me only 22% of children that wheez at this age will lead to asthma. Which asthma runs on my side of the family. As I though the doctor confirmed its probably allergies since we live in an older home but for us to just watch and listen and see if it gets worse or not.
His doctor put him in the 60 to 75 percentile for his age so he is above average in size but still very healthy and growing at a normal rate. Now he has his first tooth and probably will be crawling soon. He can push off of people, eat baby food and even got the okay for little puffs and Cheerios to try. Although the Cheerios made him gage so we wouldn't be doing that one for awhile again.
He is going to be a big boy and his sister is going to be petty.

Just like mom and dad! sugar looks just like you and JD looks just like Hubby. I'm glad they are both healthy and happy.

It is amazing how different one kid can be to another. My husband and his brother a good example. Big Brother is 6'4" and easily 280+ lbs. My husband is 5'8" and tops out at 160 lb.s Our kids are all tall for their ages. My second and youngest are both off the charts landing in the 110% range..lol or smallest lands in the 80%! My second girl though is taller then her sister at the moment. Ever since she was about a year and a half (they are 23 months apart in age) they have gone back and forth based on growth spurts as to who was taller.

Wow...that is awesome! My daughter is 11 months and is only about 17 pounds...but she has always been a little peanut. My other daughter that 22 months was smaller too. she didn't even go into a larger carseat until she was almost 18 months because she was just over 20 pounds. They are cute...love the picture. My 22 month old uses the same pacifier as your daughter. I showed her your picture and she pointed and said "mine paci".

It is nice for you to have a baby with that size it is normal nowadays to have some unique baby maybe for our food intake. I hope your guidance will not fade for the learning start at the early of our age and with your attitude in caring his sister will be the most beneficial in the future to have a brother with a huge size.
