Ants are crawling into my laptop

Well we all know about anti-virus software that proliferate the web. I guess it's time for someone to create an anti-insect program to help eliminate insects from infesting computers. At least an addon to existing anti-virus software.

Are you eating while using your laptop? coz that might be one reason why ants are marching into your laptop. Try having it cleaned to get rid of them. They might have even build their own world inside your laptop which could damage the unit.

Red ants, don't they bite? Ew I hate ants, I know they are only small but some species of ant can leave nasty bites on the skin, maybe they are attracted by the heat, or by something sweet, have you got anything sweet near your computer, or sometimes crumbs of food can fall in the laptop. I would use an ant killer, find out where they are coming from and put the ant killer there and hopefully it will deter them from coming indoors.

I noticed this too. Since both of us are living in Malaysia, we are facing the same problem. I noticed last week and today, many ants crawl around and into the power point on the wall. In my office, the ants are making highways from the ground floor up to our office on the third floor. There are trails of ants everywhere. My boss said he will spray it once he bought the insects spray. So, what are you gonna do about the ants that visiting your laptop?

In my take, there are only two theories why there are ants crawling in your device. it could either be that 1.You are eating while using the computer resulting that food debris would eventually fall on your computer or 2.Untreated room with regards to insect termination. What you could do though is to clean your workspace most especially your computer and try as best as possible to eat far from your computer. it's also a good idea to treat your place insecticide so that no bugs or insects will somehow invade your area.

Well, what is around your laptop? any sweets around? I can not imagine that. oh my God! I just hate insects. clean your laptop as well.

I think most probably it might be because you eat near your laptop and most probably the food particles might be in the laptop small of them that the ants might be coming. I think next time try to eat away from the laptop.
