My Medications Have Me Cross Fading

...and i can't stand the way that makes me feel. when i say cross fading i mean when you feel drowsy and out of it, at the same time you feel restless inside. the way i feel about it is that if i am going to be drowsy then i want to sleep. i don't want to be sitting up with a whole bunch of nervous energy and can't sleep. i think it's my psychiatrist attempt to get me to do more so that i would get off disability. i resent being played with like that. i hate feeling this way, and eventually all i gets me to do is disassociate and have panic attacks. i don't want to be on any more speed pills when i am o downers. i would rather have the downer effect so that i won't be stressed out and overburdened by life. i feel like i am crawling out of my skin, but i am so tired and wish i could sleep. do any of you all take psych meds and have this reaction? share your experience and what do you do about it. i am so desperate not to feel this way, i feel like i want to take a drink.

Hello Moongypsy, I´ve been medicated with painkillers, two daily pills in the last 6 weeks. This week I stopped taking them for somedays, and I began feeling this down mood and some anxiety. I just tried to be patient. Like if I had to suit in this body. Try telling your doctor how are you feeling. I hope that you feel better soon. Blessings Moongypsy... dainy

i have tried to talking to my doctor, he will just change the speed pill or the dosage, but he really wants me to mix with the speed. he doesn't want me too relaxed.

Sometimes my mother dossifies herself for her blood pressure treatment, and it works fine for her. Could you try to find your perfect match between the speed and the relax pill? Blessings Moongypsy...dainy

Some doctors and psychiatrists think they know best, they think they know our bodies more than we know them ourselves? So untrue, only you can be the judge of whether the medications are working for you, the side affects etc.. I have been on numerous anti-depressants over the past, some of the side affects have been worse than the actual symptom of depression! I know the current ones I am on require me to have 12 hours sleep on average, and even then I find myself drowsy, and I all I seem to want to do is sleep and eat. Finding an understanding doctor and psychiatrist that listens to YOUR needs, not prescribe what they think is good for you. Sometimes you need to try different medications before you find the one that you are truly happy with.

my doctor already knows i am having this problem. i tell him about it all the time. i think he is trying to keep me hyped up because he is trying to get me to go back to work and get off disability. i don't know what i will do if i have to do that. working while i was sick became impossible for a while. i guess he feels the speed pills mixed with the downers will take care of that.

that is ideally because you are not taking the medications at the right time and is a cause of worry,i would say and the skin will ideally feel the ache
