..hotel wifi made my stay easy..

hey guys, i had been on a recent trip with my family, and the moment i checked into the hotel that we had booked, i inquired about the availability of the internet service in the hotel and the moment they said about wifi thing, i erupted in joy, i could not contain my happiness as i thought that i can at least do mylot and my other office works if internet is available.
In fact nowadays i have been doing the same thing every where i check into any hotels, i make it a point that i get access to internet.
What r your views about this guys? Do u look out for an internet connection whenever u check into any hotel or something else? Please do share your views!

Not only in hotels but in restaurants as well. Such internet addict!
But I do try to log in to Mylot as much as I can wherever I go provided that I am really not busy with some chit chats with friends or family.

Mylot put a spell on me! I just seem to be too attached to the site that it is the first thing that comes to my mind as soon as I open my laptop. We all know that the site pays not as much as other sites, but knowing that this is such a friendly environment and you can feel the warm response of members, it is really worth all the time we spend here.

Yeah i completely agree to you on this that even though this site pays less, still there is something that has kept us going on this site. may be it is the bonding and a friendly environment that u have mentioned that has made our stay on this site very comfortable and warm. even the moment i log into internet, i make it a point to log into this site at least once.

ha ha ha, well i am glad to know that u r an internet addict but in a positive way to an extent that u ensure that u r connected even at restaurants and that is a great thing. But i am happy that u like to spend more time on this site whenever u r free so that there is scope for u to be active as much as possible.

Oh i am glad to hear that u were working in a hotel but why did u resigned last year?
Anyways who better than u can tell us the utility of a wifi connection in a hotel for the guests. i have always made it a point that i stay connected with the internet so that i can carry out some jobs very easily without any hassles.

Oh yeah i know there r salary issues due to which many people change their profession and i hope u r now settled properly. where r u working now?
Yes nowadays wifi service is available on mobile as well ,so if wifi service is provided by the hotels then they can easily access internet without any hassles of getting a laptop or any other device.

hey subhojit why u are depend upon the hotel better u take the data card .it is handy and easy to take any where were u want to take . i am using tata indicome data card .

Oh yes u are absolutely right, even a data card would solve all my net queries but i had tried this thing once in the past and i was disappointed with the results. I had once taken a data card with me when i was on a trip and most the time there was no network available and that got me tensed and worried and that is the reason why i have to always depend on the wi fi service of the hotels.

Yes u are absolutely right, since wifi connection facility is available in almost all the electronic gadgets so that makes it easier to access internet wherever we go but provided, that place must be having such a facility. I have always tried to avail this facility as much as possible after all it is made available for customers like us only.

Yeah of course, when facilities are now being made available for our comfort level then we should not let it go off our hands that easily and use it to the fullest, it would be really great if restaurants and travel services starts availing this service. it will make our lives even more easier and hassle free.

Yeah i always carry my laptop, not only to avail the internet connection but also to store the pics and videos immediately that i have got from every single day and if net is available at the hotels then it doubles the joy of traveling. This helps us to do various tasks like emailing, staying online, etc. I am glad that you and your niece are doing exactly to take the advantage of availing net while traveling.

I cannot live without internet connectivity!
I usually will inquiry about the availability of the internet service in every hotel, restaurant and coffee shop. I have online courses to take so I'd better have internet connectivity on time when the course are about to start. Once in a hotel, the internet is so busy so that I can hardly connect to the wifi. I complaint to the reception, all I got is "I have nothing to do and you have to wait". I got furious until the reception agreed to return all my money(Of course I have to check out).

Oh that's great to hear that u cannot live without internet connectivity ,in fact for a student like u who is taking online courses, presence of an internet connection is a must as u can avail it at any time. besides even i do the same whenever i check into any hotel so that i can use internet easily, it was so rude of that reception person and i think u did the right thing by asking the amount.

I just think the internet availability is a must for a hotel. Using internet saves time and money.
When I was in high school, I joined a group and traveled to Japan. My cell phone couldn't work in Japan. Other students had to buy something like IC card to make phone calls. I instead sent emails to my family in my room(at that time i know little about skype) using the hotel internet. Since then, I do the inquiry thing every time I check in.haha~

Yeah u r absolutely right, at this point of time, internet has taken away all the hassles from our lives, in fact it has made the entire world smaller and brought everyone closer.
i am glad to hear that u took the right way by using the skype and informing your parents about your whereabouts rather than spending money on other things like the IC card and all.

Whenever we go on trips, we make inquiries before we booked a hotel about the wifi service. It would be a big plus if the wifi is free for our stay, but we would have paid for it nevertheless if needed and if the additional fee is reasonable enough. Hubby and I need to have at least some internet connection at least during the night in order to shoot some quick emails for work and family. It is cheaper than calling or texting them.

yeah u have said the exact point that it is quite advisable to inquire about the provision of wifi service before booking a hotel and even if they would not be providing that service and if it has a reasonable price then there should be no issues in mind. But i am glad to hear that u and your hubby take good advantage of internet connection especially while traveling.

Wifi or a good internet connection is now absolutely essential on my life these days. I just this inner need that I have, and it makes thing a lot more enjoyable and tolerable as well.

yes u are absolutely right, a wifi or it could be an internet connection has indeed become a very essential component of our life and hence we find it hard to stay away from it even if we travel. so it makes it more important to have an internet connection while u r traveling so that important jobs can be carried out in a short span of time without looking out for internet cafes at different places.

When I used to travel around quite a bit. I loved it when I would find a hotel with a good internet connection. It made things a lot easier. If I were to travel somewhere I believe I would definitely want somewhere with a connection, but I also think that would depend on what kind of trip I was taking.

Yes u are absolutely right, our trip becomes more easier if we are provided internet connection so that we can use it in case we need it urgently, for instance checking out the availability of the tickets, getting to know more about that place, etc but as u said it depends on the kind of trip we r undertaking as some of the hotels they do not provide this facility also.
