"Be still, Know that I am God"

Hi Jenny, thank you for sharing this with us. With these discussions, we get to know each other really well and we know that each one of us is a strong person. there is always that need for us to just know and understand that God wants us to be better and he never intends us to be broken inside and out. Most of the time there are just trials that would test your faith, test your sanity, even... but when you move past this, hold on and remain sane and strong thinking about the family you will leave behind, i know all of us no matter how hard it is for us... we would always have to just call on to God and just be with him in the journey.

I am happy to be here for you Jenny. Things do happen and c we all are fighting or own battles. But remember that you do not have to bear them alone. Good listens and he watches and he is willing to guide us every time. Know that just call unto him and he will answer us. :)

Reading your reply as reassurance brought me to tears. Thanks for being a good friend To some people, this would not have mattered so much, but for a person like me who have just keep most of my feelings inside me, this means a whole lot.

By the way after I responded to this discussion myLot took me to a page that says something like: "You have posted a response to a discussion in god under People I admire. Would you like to add god to your list of People I admire?" Cool, right? Though I'm not sure that was the exact wording. I forgot.

HI Cherry, well yes, but we have to sometimes take a step back and plan, and just listen to what God is telling us. Many of us are just too busy with our lives, we are often flooded with too many things to do and one piles up when we do take a breather. I guess this is often what our lives are... but it is important to sometimes njust relax and listen to what God is telling us. this way we can keep our focus on one thing and then finish it... our mind won't have to be cluttered, right? By the way, it is always like that when you respond to a discussion that is not yet added to your interests. :D Since you are considered a new member I'd say you will encounter a lot of discussions that would give you prompts like this. :D enjoy!! :)

I've noticed prompts like this before. I just thought it was funny that myLot asked of if I wanted to add God to the list of people I admire.

Hi there Iriene, thank you so much for your response. God is wonderful, and fantastic and he is only what we need in our lives, because everything we have he gave them to us and the ability to acquire them.

Hi Samar. Thank you so much for your response. Yes that is important that in every situation we should be able to also rise up above all that is negative and all that is bothering v is bigger this is what we should always say when faced with difficult problems, that our God is Bigger than everything and everyone.

Hi hopeful! =) I know, its always that God is with us but we might feel that he is not listening, and thus we feel we are left out... I believe that god is always with me and I just need to listen to his words (though unspoken most of the time).

Hello Hopeful! =) Its always what must be done. that we would always pray and pray harder each time. In time God will answer our prayers.

I know what you mean. I have felt like that on several occasions but that just makes me pray harder.

wonderful attitude you got when things go or turns for the worse. Sometimes when i am overwhelmed as well... I sure do a lot of things to try to calm myself down and a lot of it is about prayers and it helps a lot too.

He does have better plans for all of us and we all know that. God is good. he is our father and he only wants the best for us. =) thank you aji for your response to the discussion. have a good day.

It is of course but natural for us to not give up and to continue v what we have v started. Bit by bit we can succeed but there should be moments where we take a quiet moment and know and v heat what God's is trying to tell us... In order to help us.

In our world that is so busy, and everyone is doing a lot of things and are everywhere being busy and all.. sometimes when things gets tough, being still can be a good way to know and reset our minds and start over and do it better this time.
