Definitely, it's not a piece of cake with the crunches and the push-ups. I am working out really hard to get the so called 6 pack abs. Besides, I am doing 40-50 push-ups for the stamina and endurance. I've got this video from youtube for my abs routine. It's called 8 minutes to 6 pack abs (very old video), but I am to think it's sort of effective although, really tough to endure the whole 8 minutes session. It's only been a week and the muscles around my stomach hurt a lot. I am not sure if I should go for whey proteins or any supplements to get the result faster. But I don't want myself to look all beefed up by taking these supplements, as most of them do. If anyone has great abs, please suggest me an effective regime, supplements, any diet I should avoid..I'd also want to know if any mylotter is working out at home for the same purpose.

I totally agree with you. I am trying to workout at home because a) i cant afford to spend time in gym b) i cant afford the price for the entire year. So i looked up in youtube and also some of yoga lessons but the thing is its hard to get started and also to stay with it. I feel demotivated and for some reason i just forget about it. I guess i shouldnt have relaxed once the pain kicks in. I would suggest you avoid the supplements and follow healthy diet with lots of nutrition. There are also some videos in youtube that direct you to does and dont of healthy dieting. good luck

Thanks, I really need some motivation myself. I feel you should not give on what you want to achieve. Take out some time in a day for your routine and I would not want to miss the routine as you tend to feel lazy and demotivated if you miss your routine even for a day. Good luck to you too.

Thats really cool, my friends are telling me of a work out video called insanity workout by Shaun t. They say its really effective and it affected even their eating habits. My friend said during the program she felt so guilty eating unhealthy food.

Yes but I found that it's not much of a help for getting 6 packs. lol. But I am glad it worked on your friend.

8 minutes to 6 pack abs? Well as much i would like to believe that would work, but i don't think it really does. I mean come on, there is no shortcut to greatness and you would probably have to work out for a year to get there. Anyway, according to me it is really simple, you want rock solid abs in short period of time you do it the hard way i.e. work hard and make it happen.

I agree Rome wasn't built in a day and I have great patience. Besides, the 8 minutes work have to be followed daily and that is just the basic level. Once you can master the basic level I think they have more levels. I just downloaded their level 1 and I am just trying to start from the basic for now..I do really need to work hard, thanks.

i just started a at home work out as well but in my case i have started walking were i walk is a really good neighberhood with lots of side walks.. a planned out a route for me to walk that would be far enought to make a difference and i walked it yesterday for the first time it took me an hour to walk this route .. and i could feel the difference.. im think of walking it 2 x a day but i wan to get my legs use to it first . i cant wait until evening to go again on this walk and am so excited to see if it works and i lose .. im sure i will but not sure how much or how fast.. but i really need a good ab work as well i want to lose in my stomach , i want it to be flat .. and im not sure of just the walking will do. my freind suggested leg lifts and hold.. i may try that.. goodluck on your workout i hope u do well.. i know im excited ..

I hate gym myself..I am naturally athletic too, but I fancy some muscles on my body. That's what I have started working out at home.

whooo hoooot so you are now sexy.. whooo hoooot I have different kind of work out at home.. it is called fork and spoon lifting... it is not hard to do and it must be done 3 times a day sometimes four depending on the availability of the plate... LOL just kidding.. nice to hear this. DISCIPLINE is a must when doing the work out at home.

I a flattered. I like the fork and spoon lifting workout after my crunches, because I tend to feel hungry after the workout. I am decipline-ing myself too. Thanks.
