As I shared to you before regarding our new management by May then our tenure of service will be back to zero and all will be under three months probation for evaluation and assessment and if there will be redundancy at work.Sad but its the truth that we have to face. Some says that we have to get paid for the years of service that we had in this company.Since we did not resigned and everyone will be back to zero no matter how long you stay in the company. Some also says that it is in the law that employees should be paid right for it.But our company, the owners says that he will be just giving cash gifts to the employees wherein no definite amount. Some colleagues reacted about it since some stay more than 15 years here. There are still some speculation running and we are looking forward for the best and what is right for us.

Per our experience here in the company, you should be paid for your services if ever you will start again from 0 tenure. I think it's in the Labor Code Ardoy. You can browse for it under DOLE so everyone will be enlightened and if ever that will be done, to be ready for any eventuality.

Yeah thats what our hr did and saw that in the net, he even called DOLE about it and said that it should be half the salary times the nimber of years. Don't know yet whats going on as of the moment but the latest wa the cash gift that they said in the letter from their attorney. For sure their attorney will fight for them since they are paid for their service no matter what it is. Still hoping for the best and what is good for us.

those who are only to receive a certain amount of money should not say yes and not agree to it. there should be a separation pay and that must be at least a month of salary(current) multiplied by the number of years of service. I think your office mates in there must talk to each other, chat and know for sure what will happen to you all because this is not the proper way that your company will have to inform you all and not keep you blinded to the changes because it directly affects all of you.

Yeah its not proper and just to be back at start again without getting what is right for the employee. We are dealing with this dilemma that we are hoping that ended up into something good. What says to laor code according to some that it should half the month salary multiple by number years will the separation pay that should be given to employees. .

I think you have to consult someone from the Labor Department to help you with this problem. The fact that you are going back to the start, they should have issued termination paper at the end of the term otherwise, the presumption is that you continued the services and there is no interruption therein. Have a great day!

Thats what our other colleagues are consulting for. What they worried is the period of the case if there will be that might run for quite few years then thinking whos to pursue after. For the meantime there are some actions doing and talks going between the company and employees that I am hoping that result into something good.
