My daughter is a 6 years old sweet little girl who love dogs. She graduated in Preschool last March 15, 2013 having a 3rd honor academic rank. Since she love dogs, i was planning to buy one but i don't what kind. Can you suggest a kind of puppy that could be gentle and nice to cuddle best suited for a 6 years-old girl.

Hmm.. Do you have dogs? Coz if you don't then I think you should think twice before buying her one. We find dogs cute and all, but remember that they're responsibilities too. I'm more worried about you than your daughter. hehehe.. But if you already have dogs, and you're sure she could take care of it, then I'd go for a golden retriever. They're gentle dogs and when you get a puppy, it could grow up with her. They're friendly and all. Have a great mylot experience ahead!

We have a dog but it's a native one, here in our country we call that (ASKAL). I see a Golden Retriever, do you have any idea how much it cost?

Hi Jembizz Golden Retriever's can be expensive my Golden Retriever was a rescue dog perhaps you could check out the local shelter you never know there are also places that deal just with this type of breed that are looking for good homes to give these dogs to. Good luck with finding the right dog.

My brother tells me it's around Php 12,000.00 for a puppy. I guess it's really expensive. Laurenlynn, there are no Golden Retrievers in the Philippines in shelters. They're prized breed and pets they're around $300.00 per puppy. hehe..

I think that best would be those toy dogs, like chihuahua, poodle and chitzhu. Those are the dogs that my husband's nephew and nieces are crazy about.
