I am planning a trip next year to vist a friend that I have never met in the Philippines and I have never traveled that far from home before yes I will have to get another pass port the one that I can fly on but i am a lot afraid of flying i will be going for a week maybe more and wonder what places i should vist while i am there any thought would be nice I am planning for the first of the year

When you come here in the philippines you shouldn't miss the beauty of perfect cone of Mayon volcano located at albay, the underground river, and a beautiful beaches here...one thing for sure.. you will enjoy the natural beauty of the philippines.

That's in our place rusty. You can also visit the whale shark capital of the world just a few kilometers from that place. You can do firefly watching too. And don't forget to drop by at my office, he he.

Sounds like a lot of fun to me. I have friends from all over the world. many i have met from my lot. id love someday to visit them in another country.

Hi,
The Republic is an archipelago, lots of islands and that translates to the long beaches all over from north to south. Now, if don't mind these waters much, you should be here. And be careful of the temperature. It can melt butter in midday, literally, so if you don't mind that too, you are in for some fun here.

That's good that you will be coming to the Philippines for a visit. AT least you can now have a taste of the beauty and fun here.
Since you have a friend here, don't forget to tell him that you have go to the province of Albay in the Bicol Region to see and have a picture of the famous Mayon Volcano. This is just one of the attractions here in the Philippines.
For sure, your friend here knows where are the other famous and beautiful places to go.

I agree with simplyD, mayon volcano is so magnificient!! I give two tumbs up for that and also have some try of "Pili nuts" & "Bicol express" which very famous in albay!.. oh, thinking about albay, I really miss it I haven't been there since we move in the city!.. =)

I am sure that he does but I am still looking at more things to do as I may never get to go back again and I would want to get the most out of the trip as the cost of airfare is so high

I have never been to Philippines but would love to visit it someday. From what weve heard, I think it's one of the best place to visit for its scenic beauty, exotic food, cool people and sorts. Since you are planning to visit next year, you have enough time to gather information about the place. You might want to flip some tour guide brochures and stuffs and as your friend will be there for you, you could ask him to take you wherever your heart desire. I hope you will love the adventure.

Philippines is a beautiful place but people makes it perfect ! So many beautiful beaches white beaches here . Beautiful tourist spots. People are so accommodating plus the food are just very excellent ! The good news here is , tourist spot is not expensive just cheap and safety but precaution , anywhere in this world you can find a bad man just like in the the Phils. The peace and order is good but don't go to places where the government gives warning . An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure !

Try the Underground River in Palawan. I heard so many good things about this place, I think it is listed as one of the world's wonders. And oh, don't miss Banawe Rice terraces in the Ifugao region, its in our 500 peso bill, its a very popular spot.
