Most babies born cry with a tap on the buttocks. Then you cry for food, diaper changes, gas problems. Then as a toddler you fall and cry over scrapes and bruises. Then a as child you cry when mom or dad say no to something you really want. When you become an adult you don't usually remember the cries from your childhood. Unless they were due to devastating events. Do you have a "cry" that you remember till this day? Where it takes you back to the day to the moment to the reason for the cry. I have such a day. It was Friday, November 22, 1963 when President JFK was assassinated. I was turning 7 the next day. However, I remember till this day how I was sobbing uncontrollablly to the point that I thought my heart was going to come out of my chest. You would have thought it was my Dad who was killed. I still can't believe the reaction that I had at such a young age. So do you have such a cry that you still remember like it was yesterday?

I remember 9-11 like it was yesterday. I was really young in middle school. it was like the whole school day was put on old. all the teachers had it going on the tv. some had their phones out because they had family there or friends. I remember that 2nd plane hitting like it was just yeturday all the footage they showed it was devastating and I remember it really upset me. when I got home my grandma also had it on the tv also. I sat right down and watched it with her the rest of the night. I couldn't believe people would do that!!

I think everyone was glued to the TV wondering if another attack was going to happen. Guess what, I was in the World Trade Center when the second plane hit our building. I was on the 86th floor running down from the 91st floor when the plane hit us. By the grace of God I survived.

I have cried a lot in my life sometimes too much which I thought my cry never end.. but last cry that I had terribly was about 2 months ago when I heard from my sister that our father passed away a week ago while I was thinking he is in the hospital and try to reach to him with the first flight.. that really hurt me a lot .

So very sorry for your loss of your father. That had to be so devastating. Why did they wait a week to tell you that he had passed away? I have not gone through losing my parents as of yet but I know just the thought of that day brings tears to my eyes.
