A Good Place To Start

Just recently, I came across a site, TranscribeMe, while I was researching for a good name for another blog site which I am about to start.
Well, the site seems promising so I decided to look into it and make some research. I find good results so I decided to try it for myself. Before you can start the job, you have to take an exam. You will be made to transcribe an audio and if you pass the exam, you can start working immediately.
Some of you might be interested in this kind of work so I decided to share this here.
I personally like the site, however, my only problem is that I am presently working with humanatic, a site which pays to review calls and the time when there are jobs available at transcribe me is the same time when jobs are available in humanatic. Since I started with humanatic and find the site to be a good source of income, I would make it as my priority. So I cannot devote time for transcribe me.

Thank for the appreciation. I really promise myself that I will have to share anything that could help others.
I know some are looking for ways to earn online and this might be of help. Actually I am really planning to share this as soon as I was able to get payment so that to really make sure that the site is legit even though I know it is, based on several reviews that I've read. But I know I cannot have more time with the site. So I decided to share it now.
So that those who might be looking for a job this time can already start if they are interested.

Since we are both working, I think we just have to concentrate on humanatic because we already started with the site. When you transcribe, you have to put into text what is being said by the speaker in the audio. Most often, the audio would last for more than 1 minute.
There are people who are more knowledgeable about this job and they just can't find the right site.
But if you can still have time, you can also try it from time to time.

You should be careful in discussing some opportunities because of the topic is very hot it will create controversy and will lead to unfair decision. I know, you know what I mean. I wanted to try humanatic and cloudcrowd. I want to maximize all my time everyday so that I can earn more from my online programs.

I think it also depends on how we relate the topic. I was able to share several programs and sites already and I never encounter anything like that. Well, anyway, the bottom line would be the motive we have when doing such things. If for any reason others would not appreciate the efforts, then that would be fine with me. As long as I am doing this for the reason of helping and nothing else.

I have signed up with the site last week and transcribed 9 short files for which I got $1.62 already. I have experience in transcription work from oDesk a few months back so it wasn't that new to me. What I like about it is the short files to transcribe only. You are right, the time that there are transcription jobs available assigned to me there in Transcribeme.com coincides with the time Humanatic has a lot of pending calls for review. That's why I was only able to transcribe 9 short files.

True, Humanatic is easier. I usually shun the Australian/New Zealand transcription hahaha. I just transcribe the American accent ones.

I also work at Humanatic and Transcribeme and love both sites. I do find that the calls are at the same time as the transcription work but I find this a good thing as it allows me to choose which I feel like doing that night. Plus sometimes there isn't transcription work so I do calls and my lot at the same time.
I would also recommend both these sites to people.

Hi! Since you work on both sites, I'd like to ask which one pays better? Would that be humanatic or transcribeme. I have been with humanatic for a month and a half and so far, it never disappointed me. The pay is quite good and I do it almost everyday whenever I come home from work.

@ kementari: Yeah, I also discovered that both the sites have work on almost the same time, so you have to choose which you will do. For me who is not very good in transcribing, I choose to work with humanatic. But I'm sure that if you can divide your time, you will benefit from both sites.
@ miyazaki: I can say that they are both legit sites though they are different in a way. I'm sure if you have enough spare time you can do great with both sites. Just find the perfect time for you to work.

Well it is hard for me to say which one pays better as I have mostly done work with TranscribeMe, and have made close to $40 from then paid out. But I know that Humanatic pays out just as good, it really depends on the files you get.
TranscribeMe I usually get either 6 second files which pays around 4-8 cents, or 1:10 minute videos which pays anywhere between 40-60 cents, and then when I get 6 minute files it pays a lot more.
With Humanatic the call time varies, but what you are working with is different categories. The inbound categories pays 1.7 cents per call and the outbound is .6 cents per call. So it really depends on which category you are better at in this case.
I have made more with TranscribeMe just because I prefer this type of work over reviewing calls, but I also review calls when there is no work on TranscribeMe as well. Both pay well for the type of work you are doing :).

It's like a juggling act isn't it, being able to juggle all the sites that that you can spend adequate time on each, and sometimes that just isn't possible. I have only just started bubblews, but I don't really want to take the time away that I am spending on Mylot, mainly because I know Mylot and it pays, when you start a new site you are always wary that they will pay! I have stopped using a lot of Traffic exchanges which aren't working for me, and I am using Clixsense and Twickerz now. Thanks to you ;0)

That's true. we can't be able to have all the time to spend on all the sites available online. But at least we can help my at least letting others know some names for them to research if in case they were looking for opportunities on that field of work.

Actually, it was not my intention to another working site for me because I wanted to know what is my problem with my blogging activities that until now I could not get the strategy on how i could earn from it. So I try to read and read different blogs so that I may be able to get some idea.

You can always retake the exam with transcribeme. Just type into the box provided therein the exact words being said by the speaker whatever it may be.
Make sure to read the guidelines before starting the main job given to you to prevent mistakes. They are always aiming for an accurate job.

I started a discussion about humanatic several weeks ago. Anyway, to give you a brief description, it is a site which pays its members for reviewing calls. There are several types of job which you can do.
The minimum payout is ten dollars and they process payouts every Monday afternoon.

I am certain about humanatic because I have been with the site for more than a month but I have just discovered transcribeme and I think if I have to wait before I reach payout before I share it, I might depriving others who are already looking for online opportunities right now. so I decided to share it this early.

I looked up TranscribeMe and various reviews of the site shortly after you posted this. I have already signed up, took the test and did some transcription work. It took me about 20 minutes to do 2 sessions of 1-2 minutes each. I did review each session several times before I submitted to make sure I was following the guidelines. Hopefully it will be one more avenue to make a few extra bucks a month :)

I'm happy that you were able to start already. I must admit this work is not my line so I find it hard to transcribe. There are some words that I could not understand because the speakers talk in a different way so hard for me to grasp the word. I need to repeat the whole thing several times.
I know this job might not be for me but I'm sure that others will appreciate this. Focus on the accuracy and I'm sure you will be successful with it.

I just discovered transcribeme several days ago so I am not yet able to reach the minimum payout which is ten dollars. However, with humanatic, I can manage to reach the minimum of the same amount weekly.
I cannot do it on a full time because I also have my offline job.
