I took in two stray pups and got them adopted but now there is another crisis...

I was forced by my children to adopt two stray pups whose mother had died after giving birth. I did not want to take them in but some full throated howling and piteous cries by the rascals forced me to give in and the two naughty pups came into the household. We fed them well and the pups adapted well and grew strong. Since I am living in rented property I had to get rid of them and after some hslf hearted attempts I was able to find them homes. I got them vaccinated and gave them deworming medicine. I named them Chinna and Bhairav. Chinna was adopted by a Physics teacher who wanted him to give company to his lonely sister who was in depression. Chinna was a hit with the family as he was frisky and active. Unfortunately the street urchins took a liking to this pup and made off with him one night. The Physics teacher is distraught and has vowed never to adopt another dog. I was very sad but could do nothing as he has disappeared. The second pup Bhairav was taken in by a friend who wanted him for his 10 year old son. He lasted there for close to two months. Following objections from his landlord my friend had to hand him over to one of his employees. I feel frustrated and unhappy that those two pups are not finding good homes. I have half a mind to adopt Bhairav again but I have landlord issues too but he is going abroad in a month's time, so let me see if I can have him back. My family was besotted with him but that was when he was a pup but I don't know how they will react to a stray mongrel who may have grown up into an unattractive adult dog.

Sometimes it's hard to find homes for puppies because of the work involved. I can understand from a landlords point of view because house breaking and the urge to chew on things take a lot of time. When you put your heart into something it's hard to see them still wondering around trying to find a good home for them

Yes, both are not potty traied and the tendency to poop just about anywhere can be disgusting to a house owner. The latest news is that Bhairav has been adopted by an affectionate family that lives close to the beach and he is not on leash all the time.I am happy to hear that.

I am concerned that the pups are not yet settled. what will happen if these pups are not fed properly or even thrown out? Well, in a country where children, women and old people are neglected, what chance does a dog have?

You are so nice and kind to those poor stray dogs. I see that you are now having some problems with them. It is much easier to keep those little dogs if it is in your own house, but in a rented one due to the preference of the landlord. I wish you could find someone as nice and kind as you are to the dogs for them to grow up nice and healthy. Take care.

I lovE to adopt or have a pup in our home soon. Seeing them and being nourished is a big fullfillment especially when you are making bonds with them. I saw a video last night bout dogs having dreams. I was really good time watching it. It makes me envy to be their owners. Going back to your pups. I recommend to give them to the animal shelter instead. They have a facility wherein a possible owner might have no issues with living with them.

Sometimes pets create problems in rented home its very difficult to keep pets. so If You want to keep pets you must have separate space where you keep them. And You must bear some noise and objection from your neighbor side also so please be relax and find solution what you have to do.
