By growing old we would expect that everything are all into place. Children already finish college and living their own prosperous lives. And doing the best of our lives compensating our struggles and sacrifices when we were still young. What about you?

I would like to live as a polite, adjustable and respected man then.Like you or any one else,I too would like to see my children happy and financially safe. But I want to die on the saddle, working till my last breath.Old age is difficult, particularly if you are ill.I won't like to live as a burden on my children although I know they respect me now and they would take care of me in my old age.Still I won't like to be a hurdle on their way to progress.A polite, peaceful, respected and generous old man- that's what I would like to be in my old age.
A very good discussion.

Hi nita,I am trying to develop habits that may make my old age as I desire it to be.Now let us see, what future has in store for me.One thing,I am sure I would not cause any problem to others, not even to my kids.
I wish you a graceful old age and a long-long life.

I guess all aspire to have a better kind of live and be free from any other struggles and also expect children that are already able to do things on their own and have their own families.

I am growing old, just like most of us. We don't know when we die. I found out by now that it's useless to save money. Since if you save nobody will help you. It's better to spend it, to live your life, to have memories. I am learning more and more to live by the day. The whole way I am raised, what is teached to me and many others in the past 2-3 generations has changed. I won't let my children tip toeing, saving the bread out of their mouth to have some savings for later, if they are adults or old. I want them to live now.
