hi mylotters! happy saturday!
I woke up early for the christening of my officemate's baby and I will be the godmother, so need to be at the church at 8 in the morning.
My friend lastnight texted me and ask with my plan today, and i told her that I'll be busy in the morning for the christening.. my friend told me that "you'll be a godmother again!" from that reaction I realized that I been a godmother for a long time.. in every babies of my friends I'm always on the list of godmmother..
It is okey to me but not during christmass season..!!! I need a lot of budget to buy gifts for them... How to say no if someone's invites you to be a godmother of their baby?

it is quiet flattering when someone will get you as a godmother because it will made us think that we are somewhat special person or character or whatsoever why someone made us so. like you, we have the same worries, during christmas time - hard for me to have a budget for the presence of each one. like last christmas, i escaped myself from giving each of them a gift. it is because i do stopped from working for i need to have a full time for my schooling schedules. was graduating student last semestral year. whew! i already indebted to them. i hope i can catch if i can have a good job already. for me, it is the thought that counts rather than those material being given to our goddaughters or sons.
thanks for bringing this discussion to us ;)

Well, after graduation and finding a good job is your chance to make up with your "inaanak"...It is considerably okey in your situation to say no to them because of the obvious reason , but in my case I don't think so.. So not miss out anybody, I prepare my budget already early and think of not so expensive gifts for them.
