Favorites on my Guitar

The music of Hillsongs, I would say from my observation, tops most of the praise and worship songs being used in church these days. The appeal of their songs on all age group is so strong that most of their songs have become favorited by many. The lyrics as well as the melody are nice and really very good. Although I play many other songs on my guitar and keyboard, I can say that most of the songs in my list of guitar and keyboard favorites are from Hillsongs. This time when we're having our yearly carecell (small group) retreat, I am as usual leading the praise and worship, and three of the four main songs I will be using to usher the group in the presence of God are For All You've Done, At The Cross, and Til I See You. I'm sure many of you, mylotters out there have Hillsongs as your favorite too?

I love praise songs too, listening to them give such a relief. in our church, we came up with a contest called ASOP, A Song of Praise, where all church members can submit their composition and win the title.

That's good! We cannot run out of praise songs to create especially when we become overwhelmed by the goodness of the Lord. I have like three self-composed songs and I want to add more. I pray your ASOP will go a long way and through your discovered talents, we may continue to give God the glory.
