How can you survive in your everyday life in an office where your boss is showing unprofessionalism. If you have a boss who always pinpoint at you at every mistake done without analyzing the problem, making you feel very small in front of your colleagues as if you've never done anything right at your works. Instead of covering your mistake and helping you out the boss will be the one to put you down, what will you do? Mylotters, please share your ideas me alone cannot give my friend a good suggestions I think he might need more help from you to wake him up... Thanks in advance and hope we can give him good advice. Have a good night!

there is no advice i have to give him. when you are working for someone else, you either have to put up with whatever you have to or else quit. his boss is just that...The BOSS! so, it's up to him whether he can afford to leave the job, or stay and bite the bullet. this is why i am glad i don't have to work for anybody else. that would make me so sick.

Lucky you! You are one among the lucky ones who don't need to work for somebody else and will not have to experience these bad situations dealing with a boss.

I think I would try to diplomatically explain to him my point and how his approach is not working. And, if I have other choice for jobs, I would quit, if the boss found satisfaction only in bringing the employees to the verge of breakdown.

Hi there, It's been done before but doesn't work for the boss, will change the attitude for the meantime but after a while the same old attitude comes back. Hmmm, I think I will suggest that he quits and find another job and let the boss rule over. :)

There's nothing much that you can do about his attitudes. It's his. But what you can control and improve is your own attitude. Instead of feeling down, work hard and be wiser. Show the management that you are something that they cannot live without and get yourself promoted. Then when you're already boss, you can fire your former boss and be the one to do the change that you've been wanting. Of course half of what I said is just a joke, but hey there's no harm in trying. It would be the best if you got promoted, right?
