About time we know the true story.

I was too young to understand the news, but the whispers of the old, when one listens carefully, cannot conceal fear. It was a topic my folks whispered in closed doors, it was sketchy to me, and later on, forgotten. But the souls of those who perished, for sure, want justice. Two scores and five seasons, long enough, but the grave opens, for the wronged to haunt the guilty, dead or alive. Here, read on http://ph.news.yahoo.com/untold-story-jabidah-213715862.html

Hello eileen, I was not in this country when the Spanish Civil War took place but the stories I heard about it are really terrible. Today they are still finding loved ones that fell beneath the cruel hand of the enemy buried on the roadsides of this country. One scene which I saw on the News still had his boot on intact. Very touching and moving this is not my usual kind of thing to watch but you could not fail to be moved by Grandchildren finding their Grandmothers and Grandfathers in that kind of situation. All they want to do is to lay them to rest at long last. This country has held back a lot of times on that and they have made it very hard for them to find their relatives too. Its so unfair to me but then I was never there to witness it thank goodness. Hearing about the war in England was really bad enough and knowing that the House I was born in was almost hit by a bomb and others did get bombed too. This is not really what you are talking about but for me its practically the same. How I wish all the strife would end.xxx

Yes, war is the ultimate in the horror of how low human affairs can go.. Real horror.. If I didn't know this life (as we presently know it) has real purpose, I don't know how I'd cope! But, we are all learning good from evil.. nothing can go any further (all that emptiness in the universe..) until this issue is fully settled and understood.. indeed written/etched upon every heart and mind.. bless you (both)!

Hiya FC., War in this Country was horrible yet when I tell them about how the English suffered it seems like another planet to them. We are learning good from evil. I hope nothing goes any further. It should be written and etched on the heart of every person peace no more war but when will that come about its anyone´s guess really. Bless you too.xxx

I do not know what to say, honestly, for I also want justice for those whose lives were curtailed by senseless murders, massacres, wars. How desperately I want the fighting to stop, and everyday I tune in to one horrible news after another. Sometimes, I think that those killings will never stop, as same things happened long ago, and in fact, the Bible is filled with war stories, and so, it seems, life is just as it is. Yet of course, I do not cease to pray, pray for healing, and peace, and for strength, to believe again and again, to have faith immovable as a rock, that one day, we will achieve all that we want. Blessings to both of you,

You want the truth, read Ninoy Jabidah speech 1968. Here for the reading : http://www.rigobertotiglao.com/2013/03/18/senator-benigno-aquino-jr-s-jabidah-speech-1968/ This will prove how ignorant Pnoy is? The Jabidah commemoration is just another political ploy he wants to exploit to cover his blunders in handling the Sabah case.

Yes he is, Knight, this was my only activity when I got dropped on the leaderboard. For the fun of it, I checked, and after this discussion, I fell two places down. Of course, I know who puts me down, for I used to be on the top 10, but unlike them, I do not retaliate by putting them down. That is backstabbing. And perhaps you would ask why I checked the leaderboard? I do that every now and then, of course, because I worked for it, earned it, and it is gratifying that people recognize what I've written, because they understood. That is to satisfy one's self. but more than that, I know that with my thoughts, I've given the rub, and our fellow countrymen had a glimpse of the truth.

At least marcos tried his best to retake sabah, even if he decided to use raw muslim recruits, but it would have been better if they were special forces from the Army. this nation is free of speech but it's been crawled by a lot of beast in the government and that's why we are nowhere to be known now. i don't think he is against you but there are some things that should be criticized with this Aquino family and the media is hiding it some how. knowing the past allow us to look forward and avoid the same mistakes. hopefully avoid having another in the politcal arena.

Don't take me as backstabbing you, as you can see I am also victim here of backstabbing. From 10, to 9 and now 8,... Maybe it's better to stop politics discussion here because some of our countrymen here are die hard fanatics with a close mind and don't like to get the glimpse of the truth that you said...

Hello there, The MNLF would have never started in the first place if Marcos didn't kill them all, not to mention Ninoy spoiled his operation to boost his campaign in the opposition. how can we commemorate on such a failed attempt to reclaim which was supposed to be rightfully ours? being there, praying for them isn't just the answer. we will have our day in reclaiming what is ours. The president has failed on this issue which has now escalated Kiram into making a stand but failed and has now been a subject to scrutiny. But one the other hand, if Kiram, gets to claimed SAbah, it could cause trouble to the Phil GOvt knowing he was being offered to be a malaysian.
