My friend name Ana invited me for a vacation in ABU DHABI. We are chatting to each other when we heard a lady shouted back to the EMCEE in the program held not far from our placed, she said as I quote. ANA..., ANA.., ANA.....ANA and my friend said don't bother them , so I answered, but why ? she was calling your name. and suddenly the teenager in front of that crowd shouted back as if she was emphasizing something. La.. LA..LA..LA. So I said to myself as a quick analysis of the situation, .. ANA was the name of the lady who is shouting LA..LA..LA..LA.. and the one shouting ANA..ANA..ANA..was the grandmother. of ANA. and I then explained it to my friend ANA, who after hearing my analysis was laughing to the bones with tears almost coming out from her eyes. Later on I learn that ANA..ANA..ANA.. means, ME..ME..ME..ME in English and LA..LA..LA..LA.. means No in English. Oh!! What a Shame on Me.

Hahahah!!!!You need to learn some basic Arabic language! But well, I am sure I would have had the same reaction if it was the firs time I was in an Arab country. Shokran (Arabic for Thank you) for sharing this funny experience!

Yeah it was not intentional but I become an instant laughing stock. That's the problem of language's barriers.

I even, called a man, sister in law, except brother in law in that language.
