Naive Blogger, Hacked Blogger

I had plans of deploying several self-hosted blogs and making money from them. Well, I was naive to think that just having WordPress and focusing on just writing blogs were enough to earn money. I was wrong because I got hacked and somebody was able to get admin privileges. I realized the hard way that I need to learn about keeping my site secure. And I should do this first before I start counting dollars from my blogs. With all the recent news about hacking, I'm a bit paranoid now about publishing blogs. But I'm going to make a serious effort this time. If other bloggers can do it, I think I'm also capable of doing the same. Anybody here got hacked recently?
