David Beckham's tattoo

Lately David Beckham has a visit to China. In Beijing University he showed one of his tattoos. As a Chinese, I have to say that I can only recognize the first word from this tattoo. I have no idea about other Chinese words. Anybody knows this tattoo and would you give me what does this tattoo mean?

He has tattoos all over doesn't he? I don't know why people feel the need to splatter their body with tattoos, ok, one or two, but not to cover most of your body with them, I actually think it looks unsightly to have too many. Doesn't he have his children's names as tattoos too?

Well,I would like to say,as a football fans and who keep a eyes to David from 1997 till now,this Chinese tattoo firstly was on his arm a fews years ago,the same meaning with a round hand,and today I watch it from TV and it was on above his waist with running hand,so the ????,????(translate to English should be man proposes but god disposes)really is his motto because he keep this sentence from his arm to his upper body may be more than 6 years I think.
Actually,it is my motto as well,haha.

Haha I have type some Chinese words but it was replace with ????,???? by mylot,so that I will use the Pingyin to express it"sheng si you ming,fu gui za tian",now you know what it is?

Well to be very honest, David has so many tattoos on his body that it becomes difficult for any normal person to recognize what to see and what to neglect. i have heard that he loves to have tattoos on his body and hence he has inscribed tattoos of various languages and Chinese is one such language that i completely do not understand.
