They just released the first trailer for the new Wolverine movie.

I like Wolverine as a character and X-Men Origins: Wolverine was one of the most disappointing movies I've ever seen. I hoped for a more mature and realistic movie with a focus on Wolverine but it ended up a silly action movie with a tons of other characters and cameos threw in so it could as well be called "Wolverine and Friends". I'd rather watch another X-Men movie than that. What I'd like to see is a film about Wolverine that is not a superhero movie. He lived for a long time and experienced several wars and I'd be interested to see that but in Origins they just showed the war montage as an opening credits and that was it. Actually X-Men 2 was a better origin story than X-Men Origins: Wolverine anyway.
So I was happy when I heard they are making another Wolverine movie, possibly R rated, that will do better justice to the character. But now when I've seen the trailer, I don't have high hopes anymore. The story doesn't seem that interesting, the CGI looks terrible and action looks fake and generic. What do you think about this movie? Are you excited?

I hope this is as good as X Men First Class.First two X Men movies made a decade ago were good but they spoiled the series by making the third one X Men Last stand.It was very disappointing movie.Then they made Wolverine in 2007 i think , movie was average although Hugh Jackmann did a fantastic job in that one.Trailer of this movie looks awesome though.In my opinion X Men comics are awesome and only X Men First Class reached up-to that level.

I'm probably the only person who hates First Class. Actually I only like the first two X-Men movies. Last Stand felt like a betrayal but it was still watchable while Origins is just an abomination.

This new film is set in Japan. The Wolverine in Japan is a very popular story thread from his comic days. If the new film follows that story, it will be fantastic. I have seen the trailer and it looked fine - Is your monitor good enough quality to view it?
The new X Men film will also be following a previous comic story, probably the best X Men story ever.
I agree the the Origins film was very weak, But I do understand why. The Origins story was to cash in on Wolverine's popularity and to launch other characters - Deadpool and Gambit namely. Unfortunately it didn't work.

Yeah yeah, I know. I was somewhat excited for the movie when I heard it's gonna be set in Japan but the trailer does nothing for me. Still hoping it's gonna turn up good but I'll probably skip it in theater and download it when it's available.

I love the X Men movies, but I don't like Wolverine as a character, I would much rather go and see another X Men movie, but haven't they stopped making them? Which is a great pity. I thought Patrick Stewart was fantastic in them. I will give this film a miss.

hello, guys I also like the character of wolverine... but i watched 2 parts of this movies and i like those 2 parts. But i like the 1st part of X-men the movie ..And i loved the game of wolverine.. In this game i like the power of healing !!!

Well I am not aware of the real Wolverine story thing. But I enjoyed the X Men movies, both. I cannot wait for the new one. Did not know the trailer has been released. But thanks for the link. I'll check it out and see how the movie will fare when it gets released.

Yeah, i watched the earlier Wolverine film and i didn't even finish it since i could not stand the awful story.. 
Which is why i am so looking forward to this, since Wolverine is one of my favorite X men character sand they better make a film fitting for him- a good back story.
