Becoming a smut peddlar?

We all know that s*x sells right? If I planned to sell p*rn*graphic drawings cater to a certain niche, I would easily earn a lot. But the question is if I do that, it may or may not ruin my reputation though. People might understand that I need money and since I'm not the one "doing those stuff" at nightclubs and drawing smut instead then maybe it's much more acceptable. So what are your thoughts on this? If you can draw would you do draw smut to make money?

I don't think I would. People can be judgmental and I do not want to be bothered with harsh words all the time. Plus, I wouldn't want to put shame on my parent's name, especially to my dad who is very well-known in his field of work.

True, especially towards the niche that I'm thinking of catering to. They made a bad name for themselves. I would be an easy target for haters to harass me if they found out I drew anthropomorphic animal smut. (Yes the niche I'm talking about are people who like humanoid animal smut and they would pay lots just for that)

Also, even if I drew normal p*rn, I would still be attacked anyway. I have seen plenty of smut artist have their art post on the other site for the members to criticize it and make fun of it. Artists also have people make a hate articles about them.

I don't know what the issue is? Sell them, sell them under a pseudonym if you are ashamed of anyone finding out... In actual fact, if you are questioning whether or not you should do it, then maybe you shouldn't

Because the niche I'm talking about has so much hate against them. I'm not ashamed of anyone finding out but I will become a target for trolls if they ever found out. Maybe I should try changing my account name in the website I'm selling.

If you don't feel comfortable but you still want to do it, you can always use another name and account to do that. The issue here you are raising is about morality rather than artistic skill. If you are okay with smut drawings which you can sell to make money, by all means, do it.

one of my favorite rappers once said, "A hustle is a hustle". As long as it isn't involving children, and you are good at it, draw some adult content and sell it to the highest bidder. I can't draw worth a crap so I say if you can, do it!
