Tracey should have challenged Ellie's integrity

Ellie caught Tracey snooping around the lab and said she wouldn't help her because she had integrity. So Tracey should have asked her were her integrity was when she reverse engineered the recipe from a stolen sample of the relish. Ellie also destroyed the last of the relish in the process of her analysis and the relish was left to Tracey in Edward's will. So Ellie destroyed Tracey's property without permission.

I have been wondering about similar since it happened. The relish jar was left to Tracy in the will...it was hers. Duke stole it and the she framed him with phoney money and when he got caught, he and Anna went to Tracy. THey both confessed to what they did and both agreed to drop charges against the other...but...Duke still got to keep the relish! Why didn't Anna make him return the stolen property? Why didn't Tracy demand her property back? Nothing was ever said about that and it(to me) stuck out like a sore thumb!
But I thought it pretty cool what Tracy signed when she got the formula when it was delivered. It is her's, no matter how gotten. If Duke had given it back, she'd a sent it to be analyzed. I wondered that when she had it and kept it under lock and key..why didn't she send it to be analyzed then?

I figure Ellie didn't really know the whole story of the relish. I dont' recall AJ telling her that he stole the relish. No one seems to get that..he paid Duke to STEAL the relish from Tracy!!! What part of that doesn't everyone get as "it is Tracy's relish, not AJ's!"
