Y&R's 40th anniversary...clips from the actors about their characters life span

These last 2 weeks..(or is it one!) they have had an actor talk about their character on the show..give a time line of life sort of. Most have been fun..I especially liked Jack, Kathrine and Pauls. Victor, I am sick of his muttering so I didn't pay to much attention, Adam..okay, not much to talk about, Michael, okay again, but I wasn't watching when he headlined so I don't remember any of that..(I was working at the time) But Kathrines was great! Seeing her all those years ago and remembering the storylines. And Paul's...that hair was great back then! And he took us through his life enjoyably. Oh yeah, Billy was good to..his life span has been short, but boy he has done alot in that short time! And then of course there was Sharon's. I had to force myself to listen to her as I just wanted to see the clips to see times gone by with others, but same as the character...her rendition was boring, dull, unimportant and evasive. She's done nothing in her life by sleep around...I just can't get why they still have that character and was shocked that they even let her speak, when the life of Sharon is basically nothing. But oh well, the others were great to watch.

Not a fan of sharon but who is. I don't really care for the actors that have been there for a long, long time. I like adam the best. I also do not care for the younger people who seem to come and go quickly. Sometimes you see them and can tell they won't last long. Of course others will linger a little longer.

I don't like how they portray the children either...they are 8 years old today and they are sent to camp or boarding school and a year later come back and they are 21!
And they always have the kids spoiled brats, or stupid and useless. Can't they, for a change, have a kid with goals and values and shooting for something on their own instead of just working at daddy's company?
I like Adam to...until he let Chelsea go the way he did. They were so good together and could have been quite the duo! Those two and Billy and Victoria...a nice change from the constant JAck and Victor!

Neils duaghter, her names escapes me, she was smart, sweet, and had goals then bam- she became a model. Ugh. Why do they keep having Sharon be the face of new cosmetic lines?

I know! Why Sharon?!?!?! Whast's with her face anyway! It is always covered by that hair always hanging in it! Lily is Neils daughter and now she is some head of a department something or another. As usual, no one has to have an education or any kind of previous experience to get the higher up management jobs!!!
