How to celebrate your Birthday?

Today is the Easter Sunday and my birthday, so coincidental it is! But for the far distance from my parents, and the unfamiliar city now I'm living in, I really don't know how to celebrate it.
And the long commute everyday to the company exhausts me, too. I have to pay off my sleep debt every weekend, so even a tour is impossible...
Could someone share me your holiday experience?

Hi there Bluemaple 2013! Welcome to Mylot!
I spent my Easter Sunday in church, we had Sunday service and we talked about forgetting our own desires in order to give way to what the Lord wants. I have learned a lot today and it is related to the day one of Purpose Driven Life which I just started reading with my husband.
I usually celebrate my birthday on the weekend if it falls on a working day. Happy Birthday!

Oh, I get that. Maybe you can throw a small party, just to get to know some neighbors or co-workers? Or, just a simple treat can start a friendship.
