I am so doubtful about those rebate deals.

It is shady when you saw those advertising about rebate discount deals. Once I bought this TV tuner, which I can stick in a flash drive stick, or an external hard drive to watch my DVD movies, or listen to mp3 music, the original price was $40, and after the rebate it will be down to $15, you can do the math, there is $25 discount. I followed the instructions to fill out the form, and sent it in. It is already 2 months, I haven't received any notification whether or not I got accepted the rebate claim. Even though I sent out a couple of email to ask for it, it just no response. How phony that was. Recently, I also bought a box of printer paper, and I also required to fill out the rebate form to slash down the price to $20 for a whole box, hopefully I won't waste another stamp for something that is phony. Or I would write a bad review on staples store online.

I never had a problem with rebates. if one didnt pay me, Id call the company directly. They always helped me as they like happy customers.

Is it a known company? I have done rebates several times in the past. But only for well known companies, it usually take 4 - 10 weeks (or more). Normally it's a few months fown the road, many times I even forget about them.
