I joined Goodreads. I enjoy reading e books and listening to audio books and writing a review that is on the Goodreads site. Are you on a readers or writers site? I love mine. It's a good place to meet other readers and writers. I'm still trying to drum up interest in my book Gizmo and Ellen Mysteries The Case of the Missing Boy. Check it out on amazon or my blog www.amazon.com/ Gizmo-Ellen-Mysteries -Case-Missing/dp/1462667473 HTTP://ellengizmo.wordpress.com Its a children's book about me and my dog and how they became local heroes. I think all kids would like to be heroes.

I am not on any such site. I love to read printed books. Printed books can be read comfortably. Sitting on a computer for hours and reading is something not for me. However, there are several books on internet which one can read free of charge. This is one benefit of ebooks. But I still prefer printed books.

I have never know about goodreads. But it looks like they would be a good deal. It will be fun to listen to audio books. I usually played the games which called visual novels. They have audio, soundtrack and pictures. It looks like mini movie, just it's not motion pictures but still pictures. It is fun to read that kind of books.

I like Goodreads. But I only log in when I'm updating the books I'm reading. I'm a bit of a slow reader and I read two books at a time, one non-fiction and one fiction. So, I only log in every few weeks or so.

Wow, it must feel great to be able to write a book. I don't know about Goodreads but I think it's worth checking out.

I've been on Goodreads for 3 years. The annual reading challenge keeps me motivated. I discover a lot of books I want to read and I remember all those I've already read. It is easier to keep track of quotations I like, and it makes me happy that other people like the same quotes too. And the best part is that I am a bookshelf snooper, I love discovering what other people are reading, and Goodreads is definitely supplying this addiction.

I fell in love with books as soon as my teacher read the first story to me in nursery :) If you're an avid reader/writer, writer especially, there's a brilliant website called Scribophile.com You can read and critique loads of peoples stories and post your own writing up there for other people. Very friendly people too. Good Luck with your book! :)

I first joined GoodReads last two months ago, I think. And boy is it good to use! My mom had a collection of pocketbooks and I want to take note of them all--inventory, actually. I've also had a need for a good managing software so that I can determine from those hundreds of books are those that I've already read to those I have yet to read and from those I wish to read without messing up the arrangements of the books. Goodreads has quite a lot of books in record and I guess I'll be getting from there future books I might want to read if I can't find them in local stores. I'm still in the middle of categorizing those pocketbooks by the way. It turned out that those in the shelf are not the only ones that existed under my mom's sleeves.

I have never heard of GoodReads before, but I will be sure to check it out now! I love to read and listening to audio books is great for the car or to fall asleep. Do you have a referral name I should give when I sign up? I like the idea that you can write and read reviews to books on this site. It is always better (almost book-club like) to be able to hear what other people who dont work in the book industry think of the novel. Do they offer both fiction and non-fiction?? You wrote a book? What's the plot? I'll check it out if it's something I'd be interested in. Is it for young young children? Are you selling it on Goodreads? Speaking of which, is goodreads free or does it cost a monthly fee or do you pay by the book?

I am on Goodreads abut don't get over there a lot. It is a good site though. I like the giveaways that they have. I am still onto paperbacks so I have to watch what I am doing when I sign up for one. Enjoy
