working at home makes me more stressful

I am tired being here whole day in the house.We are extended family. everyday you can't find peace here at home. there is always a problem and argument.working athome can only be good if you are in a good ambiance .I said it's good to work at home than to be an employee before in my discussion. But how can I work comfortably. if there is always an argument a misunderstanding between the members of the family and I was the one whom they will always told. I can't find peace of mind.If I can only afford to live on my own I will bring my daughter and I. I am very stressful and it is more stressful when you are tired emotionally than physically.I think it's about time to find a housekeeping job well this is the only job that suits in my age as Age limit is areally a big issue here in Philippines.I would prepare being tired physically now. and being with different people. at least it is less stressful. I want to save money in the future so I can set up even a little stall near in our place.

thanks for sharing your opinion in this discussion.Yes it makes me sick . have to find job asap. I prefer noise outside rather than here.

I am so sorry to hear that you can't, get any peace at home, maybe you should go get a job out side your home, if there is always arguments at home, all the time who want to live like that, I hope that you are able to find you, a housekeeping job and that you are able to move in a place, to yourself for you and your daughter, I live with my niece and she is complaining, about the bills being high around here, and when she started complaining, I knew it is my time to get ready to move out of here.

thanks for sharing. My aunt is also complaining. that's why I give a little share here in home. One thing that makes me disappoint She let her friends live here andshe is the one who feed them but me as a niece she keep on complaining .

Hi Fearlessgara, you have to let everyone knows that you will be working for a few hours everyday, and they are not to disturb you.
At the same time, you have to keep your word.
That means when you hear quarreling or shouting, let it be.
If you are outside, you cannot do anything about it.
So just pretend that you are outside, and let them quarrel.

with the kids even I scold with them after a minutes they will do it again. My eardrum is affected I think.

i can imagine your situation. it is really hard to live in a house with so many people, you can't hardly find any peace or good concentration, not to mention the mess around and stuff..i am sometimes caught in that kind of situation and i hate it. sometimes i wish i live in a separate house.

that is true. but It is nice to be with them if only there is no argument .. so there will be peace at home. But they are always fighting and scolding.Saying something against each other so that is why its very hard to live with them.I am planning to saved money once I get a decent job and will find a little house that is rent to own. so my daughter will have her own house someday. and not like me that has no permanent address.by God's grace I hope I can do it asap.

Hi fearlessgara! I am sorry to hear that. Yes you are right. It's one of the challenges we have when we work online. We need to be focused and have an environment that won't be a hindrance for us to be productive.
You can shift your working schedule if you can't really afford to move to a new place. You can wear headset to at least block the unwanted noise or play a music near you. You can talk to them about your concern. You can give them an incentive like treating them out if they cooperate with you. I hope your problem be soon solved. Have a great day!

I am sorry for what you are going through. It is really hard to concentrate working in a noisy environment particularly argument. This is very disturbing.
A home should be a home sweet home. However, it is difficult to have peace in an extended family.
I am fortunate to have a family of my own. My house is always quiet and a nice place to think and write.
I hope your plans goes well and you will be able to realize your goal of setting up a little stall.

My kids could be noisy, too and would be fighting all the time. I was glad that they have learned to really be quiet when they see me working on my online job. And they rarely disturb me. Maybe you should be working inside your room if people would be fighting all the time in the living room.

Hi,
There's the brig issue when we can't find peace in our home, the place where it is supposed to be the last fortress of tranquility when the world outside is in turmoil. In that case, it more productive to move somewhere else and start anew. I know it is not easy, but if make new start you must, you should go for it even if it entails more sacrifice. In the end, you shall be vindicated when the life you chose shall make you free and hopefully, successful.

I understand your situation. well, it's really not easy to focus on your position becase they don't have understanding. many people don't think we're who work at home also try to make serious money. they should support you. I'm sure they will be much respecting your activity when you had prove you really made money at home

It's so sad to know your present situation. Yes, you cannot work in an noisy environment, for sure your concentration will be affected thus would result to not so good result. We all know that quality of work should always be considered when working online.

hI Aries thanks for sharing again!well, that is true and it sometimes happends to me when i doing discussion here in my lot. And my mother will come to my room and tell her problem with other co members of the house sometimes i accidentaly hit the START discussion although I am not yet finished with my post. for the meantime Since I am not yet ready to moved in one place. I would look for a job outside .and then when I got home I will used headset while playing music.
