Feeling so much safer now!

I just had the lifeline installed in my apartment and I feel so much better. Considering the medical problems I have and my kids never answering their phone unless you text them if I ever had a real medical emergency I would have been up a creek without a paddle. So now I wear this little bracelet with a button that connects to an office who will send an ambulance if I need it. It's amazing how I feel like a big worry is now gone and I feel 100% better. Do you know a Sr. Citizen who has one in their home? Do you know if they ever used it? My Mom had one and thankfully never had to use it because my brother lived around the corner from her and was there in no time when she needed help.

I think that is a great medical emergency gadget. I am not sure if we have the same in our country. But I do realize how it would surely help people a lot.

Yes, it's an amazing gadget and I think any Sr. Citizen with medical problems should have one.

Hi Ctyhnny I am so glad you got one of those bracelets my mother had one as well she never had to use it but it gave us all peace of mind that she had it. She too felt safe with it and they really work if you need the ambulance. Good call getting that.

Yes, this is probably the best thing I've ever done....and it doesn't cost me anything because I'm on medicare.

I have an alarm system and they gave me a bracelet like the one you have, but really I have to get one of those devices to open my outside door since I keep it locked when I am home as well as out. I do have friends and my sons who have keys to the doors so if I press the button or call, someone will be there. But if I am lying on the floor, it would take a while for me to get to the front door and if I dropped into unconsciousness, it would never happen and knowing me, do not want the door broken into. Yet if I get one of those special door openers if you have a code, then everyone will know that I am nervous. That bracelet like thing, was for my husband.

Maybe, just maybe, this is one of the reasons you couldn't sleep at night. Hope this calms you down a bit and relaxes you a little bit more. I don't know anyone who has these but I'm sure there are plenty out there. Glad you're feeling safer now.
