It was a good show with a take off from the well known Hitchcock movie. And they still solved a case. Castle was really caught off guard by Beckett's birthday surprise. He was easy to fool into thinking he has seen a murder like in Rear Window while he was stuck at home with a broken leg. I'm not usually fooled by such things but they got me with this one, too.

Oh wow it was the best episode yet. I was laughing and so stuck into what was going on in that apartment and it fooled me too. I was totally not expecting that either. What I was wondering is how they pulled it off so perfectly. Castle had to be looking at the right time to see everything this guy was doing, like at 3am. There must have been someone telling them when Cstle was watching or something

I loved The Rear Window by Hitchcock. I thought something was up, but couldn't put my finger on it. Really enjoyed the episode, and hope that there is more to come.

This was a cool episode. I thought he had a right to be totally pissed off but then I thought about who he is. As a writer he thought it was ingenious. They certainly had me fooled too. I'm just glad they're showing a little more intimacy between Kate and Rick. After they first got together they quit showing any affection at all and I think the fans made it known they didn't like that. One passionate kiss and that was it? Now that their relationship is out in the open they can be more open but we still don't see much of their relationship. Have you read any of the Richard Castle novels? I want to but don't want to dole out the cash. Got enough books in my house to be read.
